Designer duo Dolce & Gabbana are keeping tight-lipped about the identity of the first spokesmodel for their new line of color cosmetics. The line drops in less than a month, and rumors are making the rounds that Scarlett Johansson will get the job. Some are saying she’s already done photo shoots for new ads (although I couldn’t find the pics online).
The new line will be the first big cosmetics offering from Dolce & Gabbana, which is owned by Procter & Gamble, but Scarlett has worked with P&G before, having lent her image to ads for Eternity Moment, a scent by Calvin Klein in 2004. She’s also represented products by L’Oreal.

She’s already the face of L’Oreal isn’t she? That’s kind of an odd choice, in my opinion. Although, she is ridiculously gorgeous. She looks kind of awful on that cover of Elle though. WTH is up with that mullet she’s rocking?!

personally i am waaaay tired of hollywood actresses on my fashion magazines – stay on the covers of US and People and let the models do what they get paid to do – pose and look pretty on editorial pages!

I vote runway model… or model in general, I’m tired of celebs faces everywhere. It’s overexposure and I want them to stick to what they do best – act.
I think Madonna when I think of D&G, but Hollywood probably wants a younger face.
I think monica bellucci would be great. She’s sexy, smoldering, and WAYY hotter than scarJo.
i really want to see a fresh face! maybe it’s my twilight obsession talking but i want to see kristen stewart or ashley greene be the new face of d&g cosmetics, totally young and fresh!
I think Scarlett would be a fantastic choice! She has a very unique and universal look that would attract not only older women, but young people too, which is what companies should be looking for. She’s also classy and trendy..What more could you ask for?
Hmm, I’m with either Glosslizard or Heidi – Tabs would be great, but if they need a human celebrity (lol), then I’m all for Monica Bellucci. I still could be convinced to do the job for D&G, you know, if they ask nicely enough. 😀

Scarlett, I don’t know if she can be that edgy with D&G as in their clothing line. bUT I think Rihanna fits that category and she said so that she loves D&G (Gucci, too, but you get the point) but I def wouldn’t be expecting Disney stars be on DG cosmetics ads, uh, unthinkable. (except Vanessa hudgens, my dear)

No, not ScaJo! She already has a deal with L’Oreal, right? I think Victoria Beckham should be the face of D&G, she only wears their couture clothes. Plus I like her style. Compared to V. Becks, ScaJo is pale!

I heard it’s Scarlett too! In fact she did a photoshoot for D&G but details of the shoot are top secret – so no one knows if it’s for cosmetics or their clothes!

They need someone either distinctly European looking or snab a Eurasian model.
They’re clothing is so out there, their look requires an exotic beauty and I don’t think a celebrity is going to cut it.
Of course, a friend of mine is a half Chinese and half German. I would ship her off to the D&G boys.
