Like with your shoes when you go to class.
There’s nothing like that moment one morning when you glance down at your feet in the middle of your botany final and see a pink shoe on your left foot and a blue shoe on your right.

Like last night, when I dreamed that Tabs had an identical kitty twin.
In theory, one might think, “OOH! Matching bookend tabbies would be so awesome!”
Except it wasn’t.
The twin tabbies did everything together. They whined for gravy together, launched off my tum at 3 in the morning together, and collectively draped across my right shoulder while I tried to blog (that’s 40 pounds of cat, yo!).
They also demanded that I push them around town in a tricked-out Louis Vuitton kitty carriage, complete with spinning chrome rims, and I’m pretty sure they were also plotting to crush me. To death.
So which of these two cat-egories do the new $16 Benefit Ultra Plush Lip Glosses fall into?
I’d say the first one. When it’s good to match.
Benefit designed this new line of six sheer glosses to match their bestselling Benefit Boxed Blushes, and color my lips thrilled! 🙂
Most of the time when it comes to lip products, I think I’m pretty easy to please. Gimme a tube of Benefit Sugar Cookie Lipstick, and we’ll call it a day.
But I’ll never say never (Bieber-style) to a gorgeous gloss, especially one I openly wished for back in 2008, when I wished for a lipgloss that matched Benefit Coralista blush (or Dallas, or Sugarbomb).
With these Ultra Plush Glosses, Benefit delivers exactly that.

Dallas, Coralista and Sugarbomb apply with more pigment than the other Ultra Plush Lip Glosses I’ve tried, and I think each of them really does look like a distinctly different color on my lips.
Don’t get me wrong — I like the Dandelion, Hoola and Bella Bamba Ultra Plush Lip Glosses just fine, but these? These I love. All three will be setting up permanent beach chairs under the umbrella-ella-ella of my summer makeup bag.

Sad to say, but I currently do not own any of the Benefit Boxed Blushes. I know, I know…I used to own Dandelion but I can’t remember what happened to it. I’ve been meaning to get Sugarbomb, Dallas, and Coralista for forever, but–as always–I keep getting sidetracked with other purchases. I LOVE how the Coralista blush and gloss look on you though, and may have to pick up the blush while I’m grabbing some of the glosses next week 🙂

I love how the glosses coordinate with the blushers. All the colors look lovely, but I’m leaning more towards Dallas. Gonna check these out when I go to Sephora this weekend. =) Hopefully, the Sephora store that I’m going to has these in stock.
I just reviewed Dandelion and the only drawback was the smell. It is what you described – like fruit punch, but it was very strong. My review is on my website. I wonder if the smell is less with the ones you tried. Other than that, I was impressed with the formula and the fact they match the blushes.
Thanks for swatching these! I watched HSN to get a better look and it was hard to tell. I don’t get where they pick their models. Everyone has a really bad skin and then really bad foundation/ concealer which they actually tried to sell in that segment! Lol. Yucky, thick so it distorted the colors of blush/gloss. I love the coralista box but wish they’d cut out the scent. Thought the gloss might be too much so ordered the sugarbomb and got it with the $10 off of $25, so a great deal with no S& H. I think all of them were nice on you!
LOL! I was watching too and thinking the exact same thing! I really think it was the lighting over their models….it really sucked and made all of them look bad. I also thought they were all wearing the wrong colors.
I mean the wrong color of foundation!

I can’t wait for my Dallas set from HSN. I have mini blushes of bella bamba, dandelion, coralista, and hoola, and love them all. But I’ve never had a full size, Dallas with the gloss seemed too good to be true, so I’m doing it! And they seem pretty unique.
I worn different shoes on each feet to school before.. One grey converse and one brown converse in middle school, during my converse phase and back when everyone was so judgemental! But I effectively played it cool ;D

I absolutely hate Coralista blush. It is one of the worse blushes I’ve ever used. The gloss does look promising though.
