This is probably gonna make me sound terribly “vintage,” as in the “Get off my lawn, you pesky kids!” definition of the word, but I went to bed at 8:30 last night…

OH! I started another book, another young adult science fiction one called Enclave, by Anne Aguirre. I read that in bed last night until I passed out.
5-second summary? BOOM! It’s the apocalypse (of course), and everyone lives underground in abandoned subway tunnels. The main character, Deuce, is a teenage girl/huntress trying to navigate her way through the world in a time of great change.
If I hadn’t been so tired I would have kept reading all night long. It’s been that good so far.

Okay…there’s some cheese in there, and the dude looks nothing like I picture him in my head, but it gives a little taste of what the book’s about.

On my fingers I have Butter London Tea With the Queen, with OPI Just Spotted the Lizard on my ring fingers. On my toes I have Essie Aruba Blue. I work in a professional area but the dress code never dictated how nails should be ‘did’ =D
In other news, I got engaged! =D =D =D I am now stalking beauty blogs everywhere (especially MBB) for bridal looks. I’m getting married in Las Vegas so I can actually go crazy with flashy colors and shiny sparkly things. Currently I want a look to emphasize my eyes. There’s going to be a lot of kissing (and drinking) on the big day so even the long wear lipstick can’t keep up..

Loving the color, Karen! I usually say it about your lip colors, but this minty hue is YOUR color! I’m wearing China Glaze’s Pink Voltage (Neon) and I’m in schlove! It has an almost blue sheen when the nails turn to the side…I’m smitten.
A more pink than orange coral color from Essie. They got chipped when I helped some friends move and I can’t find it outside of my nail lady’s place.
I am going to get my nails done on Friday and am thinking about breaking out my fall colors early. I might go with China Glaze Exotic Enconter, a sophisticated dusty teal/green. So pretty!
I have on Essie Head Mistress…but my nails are dying to be repainted. I tried to stretch this one too long.

I’m wearing Essie’s Bikini So Teeny on my toes, but nothing on my fingers. Been giving them a break. Swatched a lot of nail polish over the past two weeks, and my cuticles are shredded. 🙁 I do want to swatch Sonia Kashuk’s A Powerful Punch set today, though.
