I’ve been wearing a ton of neutral eye shadows lately. I just picked up the Naked Basics palette, and although I probably didn’t *need* it, I’ve been having fun incorporating it into my looks.
I’ve been stalking this palette ever since I saw swatches here!
My biggest beauty challenge is dealing with my increasingly fair complexion, then going on vacation and having my coloring change again! 😛 First one blush is too dark, now it’s hard to see.

I became a stay at home mom six years ago and had started to let myself go. This year I changed that by losing weight, taking better care of myself and wearing makeup everyday. I loaded up on the summer sale at Urban decay and now cannot get enough of all the new makeup out there. i’ve never tried benefit and love the education I’m getting from the blog. It really helps to see the swatches and read the reviews.
i don’t eat okra or aubergines. there are other veggies i don’t eat, but they’re more obscure!

I Have been into Neutrals these past couple of Months and I think I am attracted to them because they can worn in the day or night time. I’ve really been reaching more for Neutral colors way before fall and I think it’s never gonna old nor lame for me, I am truly Loving it!
Neutrals are all I ever wear on my eyes! There are so many gorgeous ones out there, but I think my next purchases will be Burberry Rosewood and the Chanel Raffinement quad.

I want a maple bacon milkshake
After years and years of only wearing my neutral copper palette shades I have discovered color a couple years ago and think I have only worn neutrals when I go do something important where I have to look professional, but I still manage to sneak a colored liner or something in there! I have also used neutrals to do a pinup look, but only for my own excitement. My daughter is 12 (she’ll actually turn 13 on the day this contest ends) and she adores neutrals and creme eyeshadows, because she can just smudge them on and run out the door to school and her many extracurricular activities and it looks like she is wearing nothing, but still provides a bit of color, tone and shimmer. I was just at sephora today and walked out with benefit’s feeling dandy kit. This kit caught my eye and I was able to swatch it but unfortunately, could only leave with what i came for. So happy to find you are doing a giveaway for this!
I’ve been using The Balm’s Nude Tude over winter break and I think it is my favorite neutral palette right now. The shadows are so easy to work with and the color selection is great.

Cream eyeshadows that don’t crease are the best! I usually use my finger but sometimes I’ll use a cream eyeshadow brush from Tarte.
I usually find that using my fingers to apply cream eyeshadow works best!
I like most vegetables, but I really can’t stand cooked carrots and tomatoes.

I like to first apply the cream shadow with my ring finger in light taps all over the lid but not past the crease. Then I use a blending brush and buff it into my lid and blend into the crease.

I like to apply cream shadow with a brush. I don’t have much lid space, so I really like the control I get with a brush. I either use the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush or the ELF Studio Contour Brush.

I won’t eat peas. It’s a texture issue because they’re firm on the outside and squishy in the middle. I have no idea when it started, but I’ve gotten really good at eating around peas.

We took down our Christmas tree like the day after Christmas…..we still have a crap ton of presents in the living room though.
I live in Utah but I will celebrate New Year’s on New York City’s time! I have a 2 year old son and a 5 year old daughter and I don’t stay up ’til midnight very often:)

You have gotten me hooked on Benefit’s creaseless cream shadows and Birthday Suit is my daily ritual as a shadow base for other shadows. apply with a finger or sometimes use the small end of the brush I got with the Naked2 palette which, I must say, is otherwise useless and uncooperative. My biggest beauty challenge this winter has been dealing with a new climate. The cold weather plus the really hard water in my area has wrecked havoc on my skin and hair.

I actually have been on a neutral kick lately. Ever since I broke down and bought Naked, Naked 2, and Naked Basics.
My biggest beauty challenge is terribly dry skin in the winter. When It’s colder, I find I drink less water and that just makes things worse. I almost bought this last week, btw. 🙂
I hate cooked carrots. I haven’t liked them since I was little. So, of course, my husband loves them!

I love cream eyeshadows I use them as a base or just all over the lid when I’m running late what is happening frequently…I use my fingers cause it’s super easy to apply 🙂

My biggest Beauty challenge this winter has been finding the Right day cream because the One I use at night is pretty hydrating in the best possible way and I wish I could use it in the daytime, but I always like my day creams/moisturizers to have SPF regardless the time of year.
I am totally not a fan of any green vegetables but for Christmas dinner ate something so delicious! I had string beans with garlic, oil, bread crumbs, and a sprinkle of cheese….if i tell you it was yummy!!!!!! Cant wait to make it myself!

I have found the easiest way to apply cream shadows is to use my pointer finger to apply the shadow, then use my middle or ring finger to blend. I always keep a tissue nearby to clean up any mistakes. I find that while cream shadow is very easy to apply quickly (especially with a good formula), you do have to let it set a bit so that you don’t have creasing or smudging throughout the day.
I hate cauliflower. Just the sight makes me sick.

I love my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette-my most favorite neutrals!
My favorite neutral is Woodwinked by MAC, actually you had it as one of your unsung heros posts and it was so beautiful I picked it up, otherwise I would of never thought to swatch it. Now it is my go to, it lights up my hazel eyes.
I’ve been playing a fair amount with cream shadows lately – including a Benefit one. I prefer a flat brush, but I do use fingers if I’m in a hurry.
The cold weather is making my skin all flaky :/

I absolutely adore neutrals like these. Very easy to apply and with two small children I never get to spend more than 1 minute in front of the mirror.
