Anyone else up yet?
Just a quick hi from Novato. It’s actually before the crack o’ dawn out here, about 4 o’clock in the morning, and I’m getting ready to head to the airport.
I’m zipping down to Southern California to talk shop and spend a spa day with Too Faced Cosmetics in Rancho Palos Verdes, ooh la la!
It’s a short flight from the Bay, so I’ll be back tonight in time to give Tabs his gravy (priorities, ya know?).
Got my camera gear all packed up, and I plan to take one or two zillion pictures. Swing by when you can throughout the day (and check in on Twitter and Instagram). If I spot anything interesting — anything at all — you’ll be the first to know.

So what’s the word on your interviews? Got good news for me?
I got a call back from my second choice asking for my references, but they said that if those come back okay (which they will, except that my advisor is in Hawaii right now!) they’ll make an offer. I’m expecting to hear back from my top choice either Friday or Monday, but that interview, last Thursday, went really really well, as did the testing they did.
Excellent! Job hunting’s so stressful… keep thinking good thoughts and I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. 🙂

Yup, it’s beautiful, but the weather lately has been driving me crazy! It’ll be crazy hot one day, and then freezing the next, lol. My friends and I always say that the weather here is like a girl on her period.
