Just a few of the things I’m currently obsessing over/lusting after…
1. This straw fedora
Even though I firmly believe that Justin Timberlake should be the only person wearing a fedora, I can’t quit this hat. I got it at Target a couple years ago for a trip to Kauai, but since then it has become one of my summer staples.
2. Three Twins ice cream
I will happily blow my daily calories on this ice cream.
It’s just so flavorful and rich and dense… I could seriously eat this stuff every day.
Mmm…lemon cookie.
3. Bobbi Brown’s new Sheer Lip Colors from the Surf & Sand collection
Sometimes you feel like opaque lips, and sometimes you don’t. For those latter days, there are the four new limited edition Sheer Lip Color ($26 each) shades in the Bobbi Brown Surf & Sand collection — Sunlit Pink, Summer Nude, Peach Sorbet and Pink Taffy.
I like these, because even though they’re technically (“air quotes”) sheer, they’re still pigmented enough to show up on my lips. That, and they’re smooth, slick and moisturizing.
They remind me a lot of the Chanel Rouge Allure Coco Shines.
All four are available now at Bobbi Brown counters and online.
4. Ladies of London
Because I really needed to get addicted to yet another reality-ish show on Bravo. This one’s about a group of well-off ladies living in London — some are Brits and some are Americans — and the hilarity that ensues. 🙂
5. Cat eye sunglasses
You might think that with me being a cat lady and all I would’ve seen the light sooner and tried cat eye sunglasses earlier in my CCL career, but noooooo.
It wasn’t until I met these Tory Burch sunnies (got ’em on sale, haaay!) that I saw the light.
I think I may need more in my life, meow!

That lemon ice cream looks amazing! I bought a straw fedora a couple years ago (more like 4! Whoa time flies, haha!) to wear to Coachella even though I knew they were kind of “out” but it really saved my face and my part from the desert sun! I like Cliniques CC cream, it has SPF and a little tint to it.
I love three twins ice cream! OMG. Their Chocolate Malt flavor is so good (I think that is what it is called).
I am craving ice cream so bad! I made homemade dog ice cream today for because it is hot out here and my dog needs to cool off! I wish I could get delivery ice cream right now like they do delivery pizza. lol.

I am obsessed with: Chanel Boy lipstick, Chantecaille Just Skin tinted moisturiser, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk pressed powder, Chanel Eastern Light nail polish, my new Balenciaga sandals, denim shorts from Asos, this chicken and mango salad from a local supermarket, and all the fantastic books I have bought to read on holiday!
Peach Sorbet looks really pretty! I tried Rosy from their permanent line and such a beautiful colour.. but like a lot pinker on me so will pass!

Nudes are so much easier to wear when they are sheer. Summer Nude is gorgeous! I’m also a fan of how Peach Sorbet looks. Love the cat eye shades on you. I recently had to get a new pair. Not cat eye, but they do have a little lift toward the outsides. Baby steps 🙂

Also, I totally hear you on the ‘sometimes you want a sheer lipstick’ thing. I want them quite often, as a matter of fact, as I can toss them on without a mirror! These Bobbi brown ones look interesting – I might have to swatch them when they turn up here…
I don’t think I have any summer obsessions. Maybe going to amusement parks? We’re planning trips to 3 before school starts. 🙂

The hat is too cute! These lippies look rather similar on your lips. Peach Sorbet is the only one that seems to stand out. I really like how it looks on you!
