Christmas is less than two weeks away! I gotta get on that ish. I only have two gifts so far — TWO! — and even those are unwrapped.
Oh, and I had all these grand plans to have everything done by the end of the November.
The end of November!? Ha! Yeah, right. I blame it all on that detour I took to Middle Earth.

In other news, HAPPY CATURDAY! Your nephew woke me up with a kitty back massage. I was sleeping on my tum, and he just crawled right on top. Made a bunch of biscuits on my shoulder blades. It actually felt pretty good…
Today is all about chores and Christmas for me. I have to make some headway on both, but if I finish early, I’m going to try to squeeze in a trip to HomeGoods (just to look around!).

He was unsure if he was going to keep it, because it had more grey hair than he had expected, but after one week at work, where he got complimented on it by five different women, he did.

Oh boy…beards!! Yes, actually three of my boyfriends grew beards at some point. It wasn’t too bad, because they only had it for a short time. Some men really do look great with facial hair, but I really prefer clean shaven. One celebrity who really rocks a beard in my opinion, is Joe Manganiello. It really looks great on him. I’m about done w/ my holiday/Christmas shopping just want to gather some stocking stuffers (mainly for myself). So since it’s raining here in Arizona I’ll be doing some much needed dusting, and mopping just to prep the house. I haven’t even bought the tree yet so i’m really behind schedule.
Now for the question of my choice: I think Christmas nail art is very trendy, but then I like to dress my nails for all of the holidays. This year I’ll probably go w/ the traditional green/red combo with some silver glitter. Then of course it’s not nail art w/o decals, so I’ll be adding some festive: Santas, Snowmen and such.
My fiancé has a beard and I love it! I told him to grow it in even more. I bought him a bunch of grooming products for Christmas 🙂

I’ve done very little Christmas shopping so far because the end of the semester has been crazy. Unfortunately, most of my shopping will have to be done the week of Christmas.

I love to add some zip to my manicure with a little nod to the holiday. Now, I’m not the person who has cutesy nail wraps and stickers and bling hanging off my nails for every holiday, but I can say that I always wear a glittery Christmas red shade on Christmas day, with gold accents, and that is the only time of year I do it! But when it comes to holiday manicures, my most colorful is Halloween, and I usually do something themed all month long, different every few days. That is my favorite holiday anyway. 🙂

Yea I have ridden in a horse drawn carriage before. My two daughters and I were on a cruise 2 or 3 years ago during spring break and we were looking for the post office when we went ashore in Mexico and since it was a gorgeous day, and all the taxis were taken, we rode in a horse drawn carriage down town to the post office and we were able to see so much more than if we had taken an ordinary taxi.
I think everyone I’ve dated has had a beard for at least a shorter period of time.. I guess I have a type, the cave man! 😉

Love holiday nail art! It’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit. Definitely not tacky, at least not in my opinion. I mean, come on! It’s the holiday season – a time to have fun and not take everything so seriously.
I have dated more than one person with a beard, and I married one of them! 😉
My now-husband had a beard when we started dating, and he asked me – early in our relationship – if I was OK with it. And yes to metallic eyeliner – but maybe not so much for every day.
I think Christmas themed nail are is a really cute idea right around Christmas time (maybe not for the whole month though)

My daughter loves for me to paint her nails.
Took my daughter for a pedi for her birthday, which is on Friday. Then we grabbed lunch and went shopping. She wanted some new NIkes. Then she picked out some Christmas gifts for her cousins. It was a fabulous day! My baby will be 13 this Friday.

Had a volunteer party/awards ceremony tonight. Metallic eyeliner would’ve been THE BEST. If only I’d thought of that… I wore an Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Metallic Lip Tar though since I didn’t think I’d have a good other chance for it. (Gotta go big for these kind of things, you know.)

I think Christmas themed nails aren’t tacky. I love getting creative with my nails and I think Christmas is just such a bright and colourful time so I love to incorporate that!!It does not have to be super obvious like red & green nails (which could be really nice lol), I have seen people make detailed trees and cute snowmen!

Yes to Christmas themed nail art. It’s both a little trendy and a little tacky, but in the best way possible. If you can’t be a kid at Christmas, when can you be? Right now I’m enjoying green sparkles.

I’m not a fan of metallic, but I reviewed one in my birchbox, and I actually liked it. I’m wearing it now too on the inner corners of my eye.
