I don’t know if I’ve asked you this before, but do you do your own hair coloring Karen? You always have such beautiful coloring. My hair is naturally dark dark brown and I’m looking to try something a little different.

A loooong time ago I used to. I can do it, but it’s not one of my beauty strong points. I always end up making a huge mess and ruining clothes, towels and bath mats. Yes I learned this the hard way, LOL! I started going to a salon because I wanted to play with more complicated color (which I couldn’t do myself) and now that’s what I do.
I think if you’re reasonably coordinated or have help (so that you can get to the back) you can do it. I do have to stress that you really have to follow the directions on the box, though.

I have, back in the day. I used it to go from dark brown hair (which was dyed) to jet black. I remember liking it, especially for the dramatic results. And the scent wasn’t too funky, either. 🙂
I’ve used Feria before in Intense Medium Auburn (I think). It gave really nice color and beautiful highlights.

Hi! It’s been an nice day, but hot here, also. I’t 97 here today. It’s been kind of hazy the last week because of forest fires, so my eyes are hating it. I’ve been mostly inside with the A/C on.
I try not to color my hair at home because I always select the wrong color (too dark) .. plus, I’m covering gray to it’s best to let a hair dresser get all those pesky roots 😛
