The lovely Agata of Her and Makeup (hey, girl!) sent these pics of her gorgeous makeup look yesterday. Doesn’t she look ready to par-tay!? She used the cocktail look tutorial from a few days ago as inspiration and tried the look first with a nude lip, and then with a bold.
I think both look beautiful, and a girl’s gotta have options (I’m gonna try that bold pink lip next time I do this look!). 🙂
I just wish we lived closer so we could actually go to a real life cocktail party. Tabs would also be invited, of course. 🙂
If you decide to give the cocktail party tutorial a try, send me a pic of your look, or tag me on Instagram @karenmbb. I would love to see what you do with it.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Yaay for Agata! So glam!
Looking great, Agata!
Thank you for sharing, Karen and thank you for always being an inspiration and a great friend!
You look beautiful. Your eyes look huge. Nicely done!
Thank you, Rachel <3
So lovely, Agata! Bold lip ftw:D
Prettttty! <3
I always love Agata’s makeup looks! She does great work!
Thank you, Jenny! <3
Great job Agata; you look amazing! And it’s great to see the look on someone with a different complexion/eye color/hair color–it’s definitely a universally flattering look. <3
Thank you, Holly! I do think it’s a look that would great on anyone and although blue can be hard to pull off, I think it’s actually highly wearable! You should try this look too!
Agata looks smashing! And I love both the lip options, well done!
Thanks dear 🙂
Now that would be a memorable party, The two of you all glammed up and Tabs to add male sophistication.
Agatha did a great job!
Thanks, Anne! I think you should join us for that party!
Cute look!
Agata,
You’re so gorgeous! Great job following Karen’s tutorial. I think more readers should do her tutorials. They’re so much fun to see.
P.s. what does your name mean? it’s very pretty.
Jennifer, thanks so much, you’re very sweet!
My name is Polish and I am Polish but as far as I know it derives from Greek meaning “good” 🙂
Stunning eyes, wow!
Thank you, Ashleigh. I think that blue makes them bigger than they actually are!
What a gorgeous lady Agata is, inside and out! I love her FOTDs, and I’m so irritated by her always perfect hair, LOL! <3
Kristen, I love you! And if only you knew how much work it normally takes to make my hair look presentable, lol. One day I will have to show you a picture of my hair just blow dried 🙂
Agata is beautiful!! I need her in my life…we have the same eyes and skin tone, and I’m in a huge makeup rut! You’re stunning, Agata!
Karen, it is SO refreshing to see a beautiful woman (you) supporting another beautiful woman (Agata). I’ve seen far too much competition and jealousy lately…this made my day. Keep this beautiful bond, you beautiful gals!!
Hi Lauren, I just noticed that comment. Thank you so much. If you need some ideas, you’re more than welcome to check out my blog and see if you can find any look you like!
