Organic makeup lovers, this one’s for you: I have a real treat for you today!
I’m talking about an Italian brand called puroBIO cosmetics, a range that features only organic-certified, vegan-approved makeup products that retail for very reasonable prices.
Wanna see my top picks?

puroBIO Indissoluble Compact Powder in 01 (€9.99/$11.40)

If you only get one product from puroBIO, the Indissoluble Compact Powder should be it! Thanks to its extremely finely milled texture and non-powdery finish, it’s earned itself a spot in my everyday makeup bag.
puroBIO Resplendent Matte Bronzing Powder in 01 (€9.99/$11.40)

Let me just start by saying that, in my opinion, the puroBIO Resplendent Matte Bronzing Powder in 01 is way too cool-toned to act as a bronzer. As a contour powder, it’s great, though! Finely milled and very easy to blend, it’s perfect for subtly enhancing the bone structure on fair to light skin tones. If you’re darker, shade 02 should do it for you.
puroBIO Eyeshadow Palette in 002 Fallen Tones (€12.99/$14.80)

I fell in love with this little puroBIO Eyeshadow Palette the moment I saw it. Ahhh, those jewel tones… Perfect for the fall, if you ask me! (Hello beauties from the southern hemisphere!) 😉
I think the plummy shade and the deep green go really well together, while the copper looks gorgeous on its own. The blue is pretty bright and vibrant, even on the lids – you know how some blue eyeshadows tend to look a little off once applied? Well, not this one!
All of the four shadows in the quad are extremely pigmented and easy to blend, but they don’t excel in the longevity department, so if I know I’m going to have a 16-hour day I’ll probably reach for something else.
puroBIO Smoothing Mattifying Primer for Oily Skin (€14.49/$16.53)

The puroBIO Smoothing Mattifying Primer does exactly what it says on the tin! I apply it on my forehead and sides of the nose before foundation, and it takes away any excess shine while minimizing the look of my pores. Definitely a good affordable, organic priming option for anyone with combination to oily skin.

You can find puroBIO cosmetics in most bioprofumerie in Italy or on Ecco Verde, which is an Austrian e-store that ships to more than 90 countries worldwide.

Don’t think I know the brand. Love the colors in that eyeshadow quad!
It’s a pretty recent brand, I think it launched less than two years ago.
Yet another little Italian collection to add to my ever growing list, Carolina! I’m excited! The powder is a definite for me!
Beekeyper – Latest post – Aztec Secret – worth the hype?
The powder is a really great product, it’s not just ‘great considering it’s organic’.
I think a lot of the organic/vegan/”green” brands are really coming in to their own right now, and producing some incredible products. Oh, and you are killing that eye look. It looks great on you!

I see Italy has so many great local brands! I love the eye makeup. The plum with blue looks interesting.
Yeah, we do have many local brands and if you check a few labels of products from international brands (mostly high-end) you’ll see that many of them are made in Italy!
I know! There are even brands in India which sell products all manufactured in Italy and Germany. Wish I were there.
I really like the shadows, it’s hard to find good quality that cheaply and they look like MAC quality or better! Have you tried them with a primer? I find NARS makes everything last better.
Yeah, I always use the NARS eyeshadow primer, but even on top of it they don’t last all day.
That quad looks really beautiful! Organic makeup has gone a long way in the past 10 years. I still remember when it was, erh, not so exciting…
I completely agree!
Totally digging the eye look you did in this post, Carolina! Colorful yet still wearable. LOVE IT!
Thanks, Karen, I’m glad you like it!
Your brows look AMAAAAZING!
Haha, thanks, Jen! 🙂
I’ve never heard of the brand, but that shadow quad is beautiful.
It really is! I love the color combo.
Great eye look, inventive yet still everyday wearable! I think this is one of my favorite looks you’ve done. The lip color is more subtle than your usual but still makes a statement and blends nicely with the overall look.
Thank you, Amy! I tried to show that the quad is pretty self-sufficient, even if it doesn’t seem so at first glance.
