I don’t know what I did in this lifetime or a past life, but somewhere along the way I got lucky because Connor Claire is a pretty happy baby.
Well, most of the time… I’d say like 83.5% of the time… Maybe 87. She’s easygoing, quick to smile and a joy to be around. It’s easy to snap pictures of her smiling or looking thoughtful because those are her usual states of being.
But sometimes in pics she looks like she’s throwing SO MUCH SHADE. It totally cracks me up!
It’s like when you’re just about to leave the office, and you’ve turned off your computer and swung your bag over your shoulder, and you feel like this inside…
But then your boss shows up out of nowhere and says, “If you could do this one last thing for me, that would be great…”
So much baby shade, HAHA! Yeah, I’m pretty sure I made this face on the daily when I was a legal assistant.
Oh, and this is the face she gave me when I made her promise to never star on a reality TV dating show.
The reason for this request was because I’ve recently started watching The Bachelorette.
Yeah, apparently I’m one of the last people on earth who had never seen it before. It’s streaming on Hulu right now, and I put it on one day while I was feeding Connor.
Holy freakin’ crap! It cracks me up, but in an unintentionally funny sort of way. I know it’s been on for years and tons of people love it, and I can TOTALLY see why it’s addictive, but are these dudes for real?! Because they really seem like they’re trying to “make a connection with Jojo.”
Do people actually get married and stay married after meeting each other on this show?? I guess it’s not technically impossible that you could find someone to marry on a reality show… I guess…

I haven’t seen it, and I think is not my kind of show. Im 35 weeks now, well you know the drill, I am trying to ignore the fact that I feel my belly being stretched for every corner which is very pleasant ( NOT REALLY).
Conner looks amazing in her cats PJ. I managed to find clothes with doggies, haven’t find with cats, that would be nice .
35 weeks! You’re in the home stretch. Everyone says this, but it’s soooooo true. Even though you’re uncomfortable, try to enjoy these last few weeks, especially sleeping through the evening. You’ll be so sleep deprived in those first two months. Let me know if you have any questions! It’s all still so fresh in my mind.
Thanks, I just woke, up, my problem now is how warm it is over here in the island, and I am feeling it maybe 2x or 3x more than people who are not expecting. That is wat keeps me in bed, under the fan.
Generally, I am not a person who can’t stay not active, It just not me but need it right now.Will the next weeks be more uncomfortable? I am nervous.Want to be ready for the D- DAy.
The last month was pretty uncomfortable for me. It was hard to move, and I was tired all the time. I was also waking up repeatedly throughout the night. But honestly, that period was cake compared to the first 8 weeks with Connor. That two month period was very challenging. The first two weeks were the hardest, though, since I was still recovering from a difficult delivery. I needed help with everything, including simple physical things, and I needed my husband to get me out of bed, to help me sit on the toilet, to get in and out of the shower… It was humbling. Hopefully your labor and delivery will go smoothly, so all you’ll really have to deal with is the sleep deprivation, which is hard enough as it is. The thing to remember is that it will eventually pass. You just have to hang in there! Also, try to enjoy as much of alone time as you can. When the baby comes he or she will need you ALL THE TIME, and you won’t feel like you’ll have any time to yourself.
Thank you, I am working on a healthy diet so my child will have the right weight for me to deliver naturally. I am pretty short so I can’t deliver a big baby without C- section Hopefully, I will have normal birth but that is still to see. I am also 35 years old with my first child. I know the baby will ask for much attention. Hopefully, I will get the help I need to stand up. Now already I feel I can’t get from bed cause I feel really heavy , and more when my bladder is full. Got also carpal which makes difficult to balance out of bed cause my hands that needs to be my support hurt very much.
You’re going to do great. You’re at the finish line and it’s natural to feel antsy and anxious about the baby coming. Will you have family staying with you to help when the baby is born?

Honestly, I don’t know , my mother in law will be coming near the end of the month if the baby comes earlier then not really. But my parents live nearby and hubby is gonna ask a week vacation the moment the baby arrives.
It’s good that your parents live nearby! Hopefully they’ll be able to step in and help. One thing that I forgot to mention: if you can, cook food that freezes well, prepare it now, and store it away. Or, talk to your parents and friends and family about bringing food over when they come to visit you and the baby. The last thing on your mind when he or she arrives is making food, but you’re going to need to eat to keep your strength up. Everybody says this and I can’t stress enough how true it is.
Thank you for the tip. I think my mom will be cooking for me. She knows I won’t have it easy. They help us allot I am so grateful for my parents they help us around the house, cause we had to do allot of modification before the baby comes (he )we are not yet ready. I heard so many stories about food, that I don’t know what to believe, for example, my cousin just got her baby girl and they have her on a strict diet without lactose, grains, citrus, I wonder if need that kind of diet too. Did you have a diet?
I think eating well is very important. I am paying attention to that know and I will be paying attention when the baby arrives. I will make a plan to help also my parents with the cost of all it. Right now I’m having very simple meals but nutritious
I love Connor Claire so much! Those facial expressions! I totally make those faces when I get certain emails from clients or salespeople. And the kittycat jammies are so stylish.
Cat lady training starts early, hence the jammies. It’s on a matter of time before she’s full-tilt CCL!

Mina licked the cable guy when he came over today, LOL. She’s so full of love, but is definitely a little too active to meet babies.
Ohh, sweet Mina! I wish her sweetness would rub off on Tabs. He’s been crabby lately. I think he’s jealous of the baby, to be honest!
That makes sense, he was the baby for a long time, and it’s not like she’s big enough for him to actually play with or get pet by. I think it will probably get better! I’ll try to have Mina send some of her love to Tabs.

She gets bigger every day, and it’s exciting but also bittersweet to see her grow. I miss her being a teeny, tiny teacup baby, but it’s also so fun to see her personality blossom.

I know what you mean. Very bittersweet! I love reading these posts about Connor Claire. Brings back so many feels. My little one just turned 3 in March. I remember thinking how fast time flew when she was only 6 months old. Now she’s going to be going to school next year.. She’s so far from being that “teeny, tiny teacup baby” now, lol.

BTW, I have never watched any reality TV show or any-like genre (Idol, Bachelorette, Real Wives). It seems I only watch the news, sports and General Hospital on DVR. I have been watching Netflix OITNB and House of Cards. Not much else.

Uh, you’re one step ahead of me. I have never watched a single episode of either The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. Only reality show I’ve ever watched is Project Runway and even that was too much for me at times.
Aahhhh! Those baby faces are the cutest! I took tons of pictures of my son when he made them too. Have your camera ready for the faces she will make when you feed her. I am only 7 weeks away from meeting my baby girl and have got to ask where did you get those jammies or at least what brand are they? I have got to have them for my little girl when she arrives.
