Shoot! I still haven’t found Kitty Glitter, my favorite penny slot machine, but I haven’t given up the hunt yet.
We’ve been having a good time here so far. It’s chilly and looks like it’s about to rain, so we’ve been keeping it low key. Here are just some pics from our day so far. I hope you’re having a good one too. Friday’s right around the corner.

I agree, as a fellow cat lady, that Kitty Glitter is an awesome machine! Who wouldn’t want a cat bowl of diamonds? I was always bummed that they didn’t have a tabby cat represented with the other cats. Have fun!
And most important of all, my cat approves of cat bowls full of diamonds. As long as there’s some liver in there too…

I love Kitty Glitter! I’ve been playing it for years on every trip to the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City! Unfortunately, they’re closing next month so I don’t know how I’m going to get my “kitty fix” after that! (*sobbing). Maybe if anyone knows where else I can play in Atlantic City they will respond…

Oh, I hope you get your kitty fix soon! I didn’t find a machine today so I ended up playing Wheel of Fortune. I heard from someone who works here that there’s Kitty Glitter across the street so I’m going there tomorrow. What other games do you usually play? I’m not a big gambler, so I stick to Kitty Glitter and Wheel of Fortune.

Kitty Glitter exists at Jackson Rancheria Casino and Cache Creek Casino. Ive seen it both places fairly recently.

Oh wow! I drove by the campus yesterday on the way home and my husband asked if I had classes in any of the buildings that you can see from the freeway, and I was like, “Nope! Those weren’t there yet when I was in school.” The whole town seems to have changed so much. Now that there’s a Target it’s big time, LOL!
What do you do for UCD?
Haha! I remember when the big debate was whether to allow Target to build or not. But where else would you kill time?
I just started working in grant management for some very busy faculty members. Keeps me busy but I’m enjoying it 🙂
The last time I drove through town I barely recognized it! It’s so different now.

My Polish friend worked in Lake Tahoe when she came to the US on a Work&Travel program when we were still in college and she loved that place. She worked at one of the casinos and that’s where she met her husband.
