Thank gawd, because I can say with certainty there’s absolutely NO WAY to look cute when you’re projectile vomiting. Nope, none. 🙂

Tabbies are the best medicine
When I wasn’t in the bathroom yesterday revisiting Monday’s now-infamous pork bun, I was passed out on the couch.
Even though it was sunny outside and he could’ve been out chasing butterflies, Tabs stayed home to keep me company. El Hub snapped this picture when we weren’t looking.

Actually Clinique makeup does nothing for me any more : I worked for clinique last summer and it changed everything for me. I actually have a clinique OD by now 🙁 But I do LOVE the lash doubling mascara…it is my absolute favorite. And I have everything in this list…they do give you lots of free makeup 🙂

Funny, that’s how I felt about working at the mall when I was a teenager. I LOVED going to the mall until I started working there.
I gotta give Clinique props for being so generous with their GWPs. They give out lots of good stuff. I’ll never need to buy another tube of Raspberry Glace for the rest of my life, that’s for sure.
Was the Superfit foundation anywhere close to your shade? Only three options I’ve heard, doesn’t seem like that’ll work well for too many people.

I got 05 Neutral, which is close to my skin tone, but a touch too pink. This didn’t really surprise me though, because I have a hard-to-match color.
I can definitely tell you’ve been feeling under the weather. That picture definitely says it all. You still look a teeny bit sick
Thankfully, I’ve never had food poisoning. I’ve had the stomach flu, yea, but never food poisoning. The last time I had the stomach flu was senior year about a week before I was hospitalized. I hate throwing up. It’s not pretty and it’s exhausts me to the point where I almost pass out.
Do those Clinique bags only have one shade of make-up or is there one for pale ladies like me? Clinique is fun to say.

The shades for the lipstick, blush and eyeshadows offered in the GWP are the only shades they’ll be offering. You do get a choice of one of three colors in the foundation though.
OMG!!! I want that gift set!!! I hope they’ll have it here sooner or later……….

Glad to know that you feel better 🙂 I have something not so nice to say about the Lash doubling mascara. I bought last week and I didn’t like it at all 🙁 It did not double my lashes, which are quite long and curly as it is. The formula was thin although glossy and really did nothing for my lashes. My most favorite mascara in the world is Exceptionnel de Chanel– LOVE that stuff! So you can imagine this “Lash doubler” had some mighty shoes to fill!!! Anyway just thought I’d give you my opinion- because after all the mascaras I have tried I have come to realize that its quite possible that one person’s holy grail can be the others…. hmmm whats an appropriate antonym… =/

Girl, I heart Exceptionnel de Chanel, too. Isn’t it amazing? It really bumps up the lashes and makes them look totally over the top. I wish they had it in a waterproof formula!

Regarding the foundation, it has a really nice matte finish which I think would be fabulous for girls with super oily skin. I also like how it covers everything yet still feels weightless.
Do you have your Style Warrior list all ready to go? I won’t be able to check it out until I get to Hawaii.
Wow with this kit you can do a follow up to your tutorial on “how to look like you got more than an hour of sleep” with “how to look like you didn’t vomit for half a day”. J/K. Glad you are better, and lucky to have Tab to comfort you.

Just wanna add…..you’ll get all the freebies with a mere purchase of $25 or above. Huh!! We’ll never get such a great deal here….the last time I went to the Clinique counter over here, I need to purchase an equivalent of about $45 or above to get a toiletry bag with 3 skincare samples!

Regarding the foundation, it’s a generous sample. The bottle is .5 fl oz and fits in my palm of my hand, so it’s a good size.
Sorry to hear about the food poisoning – thats not good at all, so I’m glad you’re better. I’ve had it twice this year, once from chicken and once from shrimp (which may be more of an allergy thing as I had a rash too!).
My Wednesday pretty much sucked, I went to work but have a horrible cold and so spent most of it, coughing, croaking, sneezing or shivering. Today, I decided not to go in so I don’t contaminte everyone else!
I absolutely love the Clinique GWPs, I always feel like I’m getting some good stuff. I’m about to switch my skincare back to clinique after a few years of chopping and changing, I think it always worked best for me.

I am a die hard Clinique skin care fan, too. I don’t use 3-step but I do love certain things from the line, like the Mild Clarifying Lotion.

Wow. That’s funny b/c I picked up Superfit foundation for the Macy’s GWP and here it is in the Nordstrom’s GWP. I think I may be GWP’d out. I also picked up the face sunscreen and the mild toner for the online GWP. That, I think was a real steal because you got to choose what you wanted out of tons a samples. I am excited to try my mini repairwear eyecream and moisture surge 🙂

I just got a GWP at clinique.com when I ordered the Skin Tone Corrector – it was pretty generous too and the make up bag was green – my fave color of all time. I just might get this GWP again – mainly because the make up bag is sooooo cute but also because this is an extremely generous GWP. What I dont want I can pass on to my sister. Im a huge fan of cream blush so that Blushwear Cream Stick is staying with me! 🙂
On a pet related note, hubs has 2 cats that have adopted me as their own (after a few tensed up weeks). His lapcat Anja now sits on my lap too and comes to me when called. His big cat Linus follows me around the house – and sees me as the source of food and treats! The trust and affection of our feline fab friends is something precious!

I went into boots last week and ended up at the clinque counter. Got two lipsticks, colour surge butter shine lipstick in pink goddess, and different lipstick in ice bloom. Should have waited a couple of weeks as they said they were getting gwp’s in 🙁
