No, I think that’s too high. I’ll say five, because they’re symmetrical in some ways, but they’re inconsistently symmetrical, if that makes any sense.
They’re on the same horizontal plane. I mean, they both start on the inner side at around the same area, but things start to get a little wonky toward the outer tail.
My right brow is a completely different shape than my left, too. The right one is shorter by at least a quarter inch, and the arch is slightly higher, so whenever I fill in my right brow, I have to take it out further than my left.
I also have to sort of “do things” to the arch…
I’ve been doing these little tricks when I fill in my brows for so long that they aren’t a big deal anymore, but it took me a long time to actually figure out which brow was thicker than the other one and how differently they were shaped.
One thing that helped was taking pics of myself for MBB. I’d look at them on my computer screen and be like, “What’s up with my right brow!?”
Well, a) it was/is shaped differently, and b) my right brow always looked darker because I was pressing harder on that side when I was applying my brow products.
Seriously, I only came to realize this in the past four or five years, so when I say that it took a while, it really did take a while.
Anyway, scale of 1-10, how even are your brows?

Mine are mostly symmetrical – about a 7. Left to their own devices, I end up look like Bert from Sesame Street so I tweeze regularly. I really like L’Oreal Brow Stylist for filling and shaping my brows.

What are you and the kitties up to this weekend?
I’d say 3-4. I used to love my brows but over waxing caused them to be uneven. I spend about 90% of my morning routine making my left brow as high as my right. Also I have to make sure they are not too dark (my left one is also sparse AF!) and I have to check on them throughout the day to make sure the bald patches are still decently covered. When people comment on how good my brows look, I take it as a personal achievement since they are so high maintenance. I fantasize about getting microblading done but I’m fearful of the results and I’m a control freak about my brows.
Girl, I can go on and ON about my love/hate relationship with my brows. Since I can no longer afford to buy the beloved TF brow pencil, my second love is the MAC mechanical brow pencil. I’m consider buying multiples at once to stash in every bag I own. If it ever gets discontinued, I will sob till there’s no tomorrow.

Seriously, I blame the 90s! The skinny brows screwed us all.
I feel you about being a control freak about brows. I was traumatized a couple years ago when I was at the Benefit counter. I was there buying bronzer when a woman came up in tears. She went to an eyebrow treading place at the mall and they mangled her brows, and needed to buy product to fix them. 🙁
So which MAC Brow Pencil are you using? The one with a skinny tip or the angled tip?
The skinny one is my jam!
I know lots of people love it. Lingering, especially seems to get a lot of play!

7. The only really difference is that one is a little higher arched, not noticeable in the mirror, but very noticeable in pictures. And one has a tiny sparse area.

One is definitely more arched than the other! Similar thickness. And one has more o the little vertical hairs on the inside. 6 or 7?

Do you end up filling in the other brow’s arch for symmetry? I think it’s kinda cool when one brow is more arched than the other.
I leave them asymmetrical! I like having the flatter one.

I guess I’m really lucky. Mine are about 8-9 naturally. They’re really symmetrical and full , and the only time they’re not is when I accidentally tweeze out a wrong hair and then I get an obvious sparse/bald spots. My brow hairs are really long, so one mistake is really apparent. I don’t really tweeze a lot except for strays between my brows or the little ones growing too close to my lid, and I can definitely get away without filling them in and still look like I did.
My brows are probably one of my favourite features on my face because of how full they are and they have a good arch. LOL!
