So…what is the Monday Poll?
Good question! It isn’t, contrary to its name, an actual poll. It’s just a list of five more or less random questions I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past gazillion years (more than 10!). I love reading your answers, and it helps me get my week off to a great start. ?
1. Last thing you bought for yourself?
After all the talk about private versus public leggings last week, I finally took the plunge and bought some leggings that I can actually — GASP! — wear outside the house. Like, in front of real live breathing people. HA HA HA! Oh, Karen. You’re a mess. Anyway, they’re these cute black leggings with mesh paneling and a mesh side pocket. They’re called the Holly Pants by Senita.
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
- Godfather
- Godfather II
- The Sound of Music
- Casablanca
-
Apocalypse Now <—- although sometimes this gets switched out for other movies because it's so heavy and I can only watch it once every five or so years. Sometimes I replace with Amy Heckerling's Clueless, which sounds kinda silly, I know…but it always makes me laugh, and I can watch it over and over again. Again, it’s a dialogue thing for me. I love the use of slang and how it doesn’t feel forced or fake. It’s just fun!
And when it’s neither of those two, it’s Dirty Dancing…because nobody puts baby in the corner.
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings?
SERIOUSLY. I. CANNOT.
There was a time when I was cool with endings that didn’t tie stories up in a neat bow, but nowadays I am unabashedly Team Happy ? Ending. I want resolution, I want the characters to get what they want, and I want to feel satisfied that the last 90 minutes weren’t for naught. I 100% know that this has to do with real life and how challenging “adulting” has been the past few years. I want — no, I need — to have that sense of escape, and to know that, on screen at least, everything is going to be alright.
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes?
Depends. If the shoes are flats (which I’m all about these days), then pointy toes, as long as they aren’t long or overly pointy. I like a bit of a point because that extra length makes me look taller, but when it’s too pointy, 1) I feel very witch-y, and 2) I tend to trip over my shoes… Funnily enough, the tripping never happens when I’m alone. It’s always when I’m in a crowded place surrounded by people.
If there’s a heel, on the other hand/foot, I can go either way, but again, if the toe is pointy, I don’t want it to be witch-y pointy.
5. Eyeliner?
Oh, heck yeah! Gotta tightline that mo-fo, homie. I’m still having a moment with Chanel Mat Taupe;. It’s been my go-to for months.
“Shoe fog” is a thing
Apparently, I’ve been floating around in a thick shoe fog because I looked into my closet today and found these black patent-leather BCBG flats, which I’ve had for years but totally forgot about.
Living in the same pair of cushion-y running shoes has taught me one thing — dressy flats aren’t all that comfortable. Or, at least, I haven’t found a pair yet (that last) that are comfy. I had a pair of leopard-print Dr. Scholl’s (Don’t hate! They were super cute.) a few years ago, but they fell apart after a year.
So anyway, I’m on a mission to find a cute pair of tan flats for fall. If you’ve got any suggestions, holla at a cat lady.
In other news, Monday. How’s your’s going? ?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
P.S. Question time! Here are they are to copy/paste with your answers in a comment. Talk to you soon.
1. Last thing you bought for yourself?
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings?
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes?
5. Eyeliner?

1. Last thing you bought for yourself?
I live alone so this might sound totally gross but I bought myself a cake lol it was a little $5 one from stop and shop but I’m really excited about having it with my nightly cup of tea!
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
(1) The Scarecrow (the animated version…you’re welcome)
(2) Jane Eyre (2007 version)
(3) Bridget Jones Diary
(4) Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost (Internally, I’m like 11)
(5) Pride and Prejudice (2005 Version – C’mon, it’s got Kiera Knightly…who can even?)
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings?
Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate.
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes?
I’m a round toe girl or a rounded point (if that makes sense) they just look the most flattering on my leg shape (I think, people might be thinking it looks tragic but who really cares lol)
5. Eyeliner?
Love/Hate with Eyeliner. I wear it and I like how it looks but I don’t wear it regularly.
Girl, I would buy myself a cake in a heartbeat! What kind of cake did you get?
Chocolate Brownie Cake! I’m so excited about it! haha
That sounds absolutely divine! Enjoy it with your tea (and maybe some ice cream too?).
1. Last thing you bought for yourself? Makeup during the Sephora Appreciation sale.
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
This is hard. I love watching movies/TV and have lots and lots of favorites. OK, here we go, in no particular order. Just a side note, I have watched all of these soooo many times:
1. Toy Story
2. Steel Magnolias
3. Big Trouble in Little China
4. Elf
5. Goodfellas
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings? Eh, it depends on the movie itself.
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes? I like both. It depends on my mood and outfit at the time.
5. Eyeliner? Yes. In fact, I think I’m going to run over to Sephora at lunch and grab a few of the UD eyeliners. I think they’re still on sale for $10.50.
Barb! Elf reminds me of one of my #5 movies that goes into replacements sometimes — Stepbrothers. It is super dumb, but I love Will Ferrell so much! He cracks me up.
Are you gonna get colorful liners or some basic colors?
They only had pretty basic colors left. I picked up Double Life, Stash and Corrupt. I also picked up a NudeStix lippie trio. The colors look promising. Not like I needed any more nude lip colors but I’m always on the hunt.
That’s good you were able to grab a few! Stash is a good one; looks super pretty with golds!
Oh, and funny you should mention nude lip colors because I just cleaned out a purse and found — I kid you not — 6 random tubes of lipsticks and glosses. And I have no idea how they all got in there, LOL!
Cute tan flats – I am a believer in the Sam Edelman Felicia ballet flat. I have something like 6 pairs in different colors in leather, suede and fabric. They are so comfortable and versatile; they work with jeans, slim pants, trousers and skirts. The insole is padded without being bulky – I can wear them all day without pain and there are no red marks or raw spots left behind, and they don’t get stinky if you wear them barefoot. They’re high enough on the sides and toe that you don’t get toe cleavage or side bulge but low enough to look sleek and cute rather than “grandma”. They’re kind of expensive and not very durable but no other ballet flat works so well for me. You can find them at Nordstrom, Macy’s or Zappos – normal size or maybe a half size up.
Hi Rebecca,
I think it tried that shoe on years ago and remember liking it (but I can’t remember why I didn’t get it). You mention that they’re not very durable — how long does a pair typically last you?
It varies according to the material. The leather scuffs fairly easily (and I am hard on shoes) and my black suede pair started looking shiny over the toes pretty quickly. I usually replace them after about two years of wearing once or twice a week. They don’t wear out – I’ve never had a hole or broken stitches and the insoles keep their “squish” – they just start looking worn and scuffed. I haven’t tried to polish or weatherproof them – I feel certain that would help.
I’m hard on my shoes, too. I think I’ll give them another go. The leopard print ones are cute!
One more Q for you — do you use inserts?
1. Last thing you bought for yourself?
I bought charlotte tilbury pillow talk blush last night when I realized how sad I was that i missed out on the shadow palette. Also a new puffy fleece cardigan hoodie.
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
The Black Stallion
The Graduate
Dirty Dancing
Sweet Home Alabama
Giant with Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings?
please no
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes?
Both! Pointy flats are life.
5. Eyeliner?
Yes please but i’m not the best at very structured looks, I love blending and smudging it.
Your hoodie sounds cute! Is it warm? I am currently stocking up on hoodies, sweaters and sweatshirts for fall and winter. 🙂
Happy Monday!
When I did my student teaching almost 3 years ago(!), I bought a pair of Abella Lindy flats from DSW. They look pretty polished, yet were still decently comfy for being on my feet all day (keep in mind that I have really high arches and wide feet, so most people have an easier time with shoes than me). I’m moving abroad in a few days, and it’s the only pair of “fancy shoes” that I’m bringing with me. Since it was a while ago, I’m pretty sure that style isn’t currently sold, but the brand seems pretty solid overall.
Clarks shoes also look pretty comfy, and my sister loves her pair of Isaac Mizrahi flats that she got from QVC a couple of months ago.
Ooh, thanks Ali!
1. Last thing you bought for yourself?
Leopard printed flats from Tarjay. Just ordered them this morning and went in and picked them up during my morning errands! Love them!
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
This is so hard esp since they’ve changed so much over the years.
Desperately Seeking Susan, Sandlot, Usual Suspects, Seven, Top Gun are pretty steady top picks.
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings?
No, no, no! I need a definitive ending. Preferable happy and warm and fuzzy one but none of this “WTF happened?” kind of ending. I feel cheated after spending and investing my time into a movie if I don’t get a concrete ending.
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes?
I like both but have preferred pointy over the years. The last purchase (in #1) is pointy. lol
5. Eyeliner?
Always. It’s one of my staple beauty things that I do everyday. Sometimes its just eyeliner, brows and lip balm as I rush out of the house to drop the kids off.
Hi Jae,
Ahh, I love your ’80s picks! You know that scene from Top Gun where they sing You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling? Still one of my faves. It made me fall in love with Tom Cruise when I was 8. LOL!
The volleyball scene had me inappropriately in love with Tom Cruise! Loved the 80s!!
Haha! I remember that scene too. I love the ’80s teen films the most. Breakfast Club and Pretty In Pink are two of my faves. If I had to choose one though I’d have to go with Dirty Dancing!
1. Last thing I bought – two skirts from the thrift store (both for under $10). (I love thrift stores!) After that, groceries, but those don’t really count. Neither does having the tires rotated on my car.
2. Top 5 movies – I only have 3 because I have to leave blank space for movies yet to be created that I haven’t seen yet
1. 2001 A Space Odyssey
2. Apocalypse Now
3. Woody Allen’s Manhattan
4. TBA
5. TBA
Ambiguous endings? I sort of like them because they make me think and consider instead of leaving and forgetting.
4. ROUND. toe. flats. I’m 5’10” tall and used to wear heels all the time until I wrecked my back and decided I didn’t need to be in pain or 6’3″ tall any more.
5. Eyeliner? Nope, never any more. I like how my eyes look without it and have even gone light-to-no mascara lately, too. Just because I like how it looks to wear shine on my eyelids and not have mascara dimming the shine! I need to be seen from space!
Hey Kellly,
GIRL. Have you ever seen the director’s cut of Apocalypse Now? I watched it a few years ago because I wanted to say that I did, and man… It was long. Like painfully long. I love that movie but was ready for it to end. LOL!
Anyway, props for having 2001 on your list!
2001 was and still is my favorite movie of all time. It still holds up to this day and is just as amazing and brilliant as it ever was. It is simply my idea of a masterpiece. Loved it then, love it still.
Love the shoes !!!!!!!!
What is their made ?
Hi Noemi,
These are BCBG, and they’re a few years old — at least 4!
Girl you gotta get some Rothy’s. Worth the splurge and made from recycled materials. PLUS take out the insole and they are machine washable. All colors and sizes. I have the grey!!
So I see that ad ALL THE TIME on Instagram and FB and have wondered about those shoes for ages! Do you have a particular style that you like?
1. Last thing you bought for yourself? I bought a couple of bottles of holo nail polish from ILNP, a rose gold and a teal. SO pretty!!!
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
1. Shawshank Redemption
2. The Princess Bride
3. Star Wars
4. Dirty Dancing
5. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings? Not for me! I need closure!
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes? Slightly pointed. Round toe shoes make me feel like my feet are stumpy.
5. Eyeliner? Tarte cat liner or something like that, in black.
Aww, Shawshank! Love that one too. If it was top 10, it would definitely be in there.
Hope you and your girls are enjoying the new school year!
This looks like the perfect way to procrastinate laundry and the gym!
1. An original painting at a thrift store for $3. Score! I’m on the hunt to “rescue art” from second hand stores. just started a couple of months ago and have about 5 in my collection so far: 3 landscapes, a portrait and a still life of flowers. I love wondering about the artist, why it was painted, and why it ended up in a thrift shop!
2. Your top 5 movies of all time? Oh girl. Off hand and in no particular order:
1. Ever After
2. Scott Pilgrim vs the World
3. War of the Worlds
4. Princess Bride – duh
5. Monsters Inc.
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings? I’m down! I love movies that have morally ambiguous “good guys” and fleshed out “bad guys” so I’m cool with uncertainty and depth!
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes? Pointy. Round just looks so junior on me. Unless we’re talking about my gym shoes…those are all rounded. ha!
5. Eyeliner? Used to. Not so much anymore. I use my UD Naked Palette on the daily and it alone is good enough for me!
Girl I need to do a load and go the gym too! The laundry will be happening tonight but not the work out, unfortunately. Connor caught her first preschool bug last week and I had it over the weekend, so now I’m recovering.
Oh bummer, it’s the gift that keeps on giving! Glad you two are taking time to rest up, that is important! I managed to make it to the gym, but the laundry is still unfinished. 😀
Happy Monday Karen !
1. So I bought a Tory Burch backpack ? a score from eBay in a dark pink .
2. Movies : Godfather , Rocky I and II , Back to School , Clueless , ( my tastes are varied !)
3. Pointy toes because I can shove my foot in and make it work !
4. Eyeliner yes because I have 100 ? plus and still looking !
Oh, cute! Sounds like a fun and a useful accessory, Michele. I’m all about backpacks these days because they allow me to keep my hands free; that way I can just pick up Connor (and whatever she’s dropping) easily. 🙂
1.Last thing I bought myself–I’m on the hunt now_ but that Kosa lipstick which hasn’t shipped yet!!! 2. Movies – Shawshank, Greenmile, Jeepers Creepers 1 And 2 – 3. Hate Ambiguous endings.4.pointy or round depends on the shoe or boot. 5 eyeliner — you got me hooked on Chanel!!! But I might try the taupe. Today!! I have problems with the black trying to come out of the dang tube. I might get the Nars mascara- I don’t know I can’t spend much but I want something. I’m going to look up that site and find out why it hasn’t shipped yet. That’s crazy. Have a great Monday!!!
I hope you love the Kosas lippie, Gina. 🙂 Let me know what you think of it!
Hi again Karen ,
I answered your Monday poll email but forget number 3 .
Ambiguous movie endings.
La la Land was ambivalent but one could say it wasn’t the Hollywood ending . We secretly wanted the two stars to hook up for eternity but I really didn’t get the tap dancing !
Happy Monday! So far, so good here. 🙂
1. Last thing you bought for yourself? A black moto jacket with red roses embroidered on it. I got it on a sale for 1/2 off, plus I had some reward dollars. It was too good to pass up. https://www.torrid.com/product/black-faux-leather-applique-moto-jacket/11435212.html?_br_psugg_q=moto+jacket
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
1) All That Jazz
2) The Shining
3) Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
4) The Nightmare Before Christmas
5) Yellow Submarine
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings? I’m okay with them, if they fit and make you think. I hate it when I feel they’re just tacked on to make a movie seem edgy, or because the writer obviously didn’t know how to end things.
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes? I have wide feet, so I prefer slightly pointy to make my feet look more slender. However, if they hurt my feet, forget it.
5. Eyeliner? Always!
That jacket is super cute, Rachel! I can see it working with a black dress and some bad @ss biker boots. You’ve gotta do a matte red lip with it too! Maybe something blue-red?
Thanks! I’m thinking either MAC Lipstick in Von Teese, NYX Creamy Round Lipstick in Snow White, or Jeffree Velour Liquid Lipstick in Redrum.
*Jeffree Star Redrum
1. Last thing you bought for yourself? A new bottle of Tom Ford’s Noir Pour Femme. I love it as an autumn into winter fragrance. Its floral and citrus notes mixed with earthy elements whisper winter will be coming. I guess it is considered a flora oriental.
2. Your top 5 movies of all time? Of all time? I couldn’t say. I’m not dead yet (lol) and I like to stay current so my favorites are always changing.
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings? I enjoy them! I think they make for stimulating conversation with people who regard them as an intellectual challenge. Remember that spinning top at the end of Inception? Loved it! Of course, some ambiguous endings are just the result of poor writing or direction. That’s a whole different matter, though.
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes? If I’m going to be on my feet a long time, I prefer a round toe otherwise I love a bit of point–nothing extreme or “witchy” as you say.
5. Eyeliner? Always and forever! LOL I have long, black eyelashes so when I use black eyeliner they really come into focus.
Hi Eileen,
I gotta say, nobody does scents quite like Tom Ford. This fall I plan to wear lots of Vanille Fatale. It smells like cookies and the library and fall leaves to me. Lasts a really long time, too!
1. Casablanca
2. Gone With the Wind
3. Rebecca (Hitchcock’s)
4. The Big Sleep with Bogart
5. Arsenic and Old Lace with Cary Grant
Favorite Disney, the original Hayley Mills version of The Parent Trap.
1. Last thing you bought for yourself? Nars Blush in Deep Throat
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
1) The Philadelphia Story (not to be confused with Philadelphia)
2) Love, Actually
3) Four Weddings and a Funeral
4) It’s Complicated
5) The Women (the original from 1939, not the dreadful remake with Meg Ryan)
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings? I mean really, what is the point? Was the director too lazy to come up with a decent ending? Hate Them!
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes? – I like pointy, but not so pointy that they could be used as a weapon.
5. Eyeliner? At my age, (56) I probably shouldn’t, but I do anyway, I just try to be careful so it does not make my eyes look too dragged down.
Happy Monday!!
1. Last thing you bought for yourself? A barefoot dreams beanie hat on sale. I must be thinking ahead to cold weather
2. Your top 5 movies of all time? I love 80s movies and classics, hard to pick just 5 but The Godfather, Say Anything, When Harry Met Sally, Somewhere in Time, Now Voyager
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings? Eh, I spend too much time thinking about what happens after lol
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes? I like pointy but I have narrow “witchy” feet so round
5. Eyeliner? Never without!!
1. Last thing you bought for yourself?
Hmmm. A sub for lunch, lol!
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
I’m not a huge movie person! In no particular order: Cry Baby, Fantastic. Beasts and Where to Find Them, uh I like the movie G*psy but that’s a racial slur,… I don’t know that I can think of 5! I’m just not a movie person. I watch Seven Brides for Seven Brothers with my dad. Clearly I like musicals.
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings?
They annoy me!
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes?
Depends on the shoe! I don’t generally like overly pointy boots, but I prefer somewhat pointy or almond toe pumps.
5. Eyeliner?
Yes! I’m on that Chanel Mat Taupe train too, I made it work!
1. Last thing you bought for yourself?
Today I bought myself 3 pairs of pants (after trying on at least 15 pairs ~sighs with frustration~), a shirt, a nightgown, a long cardi, and a fall-ish necklace.
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
In no particular order: The Sound of Music, Sweet Home Alabama, All About Eve, Singing in the Rain, and a tie for sentimental favorite between Jurassic Park and Steel Magnolias.
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings?
Only if they’re done very, very well. (ie, the ending of Gone With the Wind)
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes?
I lean towards the pointy side, but like you, not a super sharp point.
5. Eyeliner?
Are you even asking that question? 😉
1. Last thing you bought for yourself?
I bought my favorite night time moisturizer. Ahhhhhhh. The feel of a good moisturizer.
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
Oh dear. This is going to be tough. Give me a minute. This is hard.
1. My Fair Lady
2. What About Bob?
3. Sleeping Beauty (Disney)
4. Home Alone
5. Kiki’s Delivery Service/Spirited Away/My Neighbor Totoro/Howl’s Moving Castle (All Miyazaki films and I CAN’T PICK BETWEEN THEM!)
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings?
Depends on the ambiguous ending. I don’t mind if it’s one that always me to think and sort of leaves me to go to one conclusion, but the cliffhangers?! NO CLUFFHANGERS!!
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes?
Round.
5. Eyeliner?
I love eyeliner. Eyeliner loves me. We are best friends….for the most part.
1. Last thing you bought for yourself?
A cozy, soft pink chenille sweater from one of my very favorite stores at the shore.
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
~”M”
~”Night of the Hunter”
~”The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King”
~”Howl’s Moving Castle”
~”Shadow of a Doubt”
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings?
Love ’em!
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes?
Round-toe! The bunions can’t handle anything pointy.
5. Eyeliner?
Usually I use eyeshadow as liner, but pencils will do in a pinch. My eyes are small, so if I skip this step it’s noticeable.
Late to the party, yesterday got too dang complicated real fast.
1. Last thing you bought for yourself?
For just me, lip gloss.
2. Your top 5 movies of all time?
Man I’m not sure. Princess Bride is in there for sure. Maybe Bladerunner. Sound of Music might make it, maybe Mary Poppins. I have no idea honestly. It’s too pre-coffee/tea to think.
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings?
If I’m in the mood for it, sure. I usually don’t find it’s ambiguous. Like Inception, not ambiguous to me.
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes?
Depends on how pointy. If they are too pointy it’s uncomfortable.
5. Eyeliner?
Yes, pls. When I wear makeup at night I’m more likely to use it. I use a grey purple color in the day dotted in between my lashes with a liquid liner. That’s super natural looking and just makes my lash roots look thicker.
If I can find a taupe I like, that would work for day too.
At night, I either go bold with a dark black pencil, purples, blues, or black liquid.
1. Last thing you bought for yourself? Had a little Sephora haul during the VIB sale.
2. Your top 5 movies of all time? Can’t do it. So many. HAHA! I love LA Confidential and Fight Club. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Nostalgic movies (for me) like Star Wars, Empire and Raiders of the Lost Ark. Matt Damon’s Bourne Identity, Moulin Rouge, Amelie, An Affair to Remember (and really anything with Cary Grant) and the Departed. The Fifth Element, A Fish Called Wanda, Princess Bride, any Monty Python but especially the Grail. Love, Actually and When Harry Met Sally. All the Lord of the Rings, and, of course, the Sound of Music. I’ll stop. There are a million. 🙂
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings? No problems with them, usually. But I have a friend who’s still mad about the 3 Billboards ending. I have another friend who only watches Hallmark Channel movies because they all have happy endings.
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes? How about square? That’s really my fave but, if I had to choose, I guess I’d say slightly pointy. That’s another terrible answer. You’re going to ban me from the polls. 🙂
5. Eyeliner? Upper lash line only, on most days.
I surprisingly didn’t mind the ending of 3 Billboards. I like to think that they got to the destination, had a meal, then drove back. 🙂
BTW what did you get from the sale?
I didn’t mind it either. I like your ending. 🙂
Same old boring stuff from the sale. Tarte, Faux Cils and Pro Prime. I find it’s a good time to stock up on things I know I’ll need. I probably have a month or so left on my existing products.
And I can’t believe I forgot to mention French Kiss for movies. I’m probably the only person in the world who loves it but I had a breakup with “the love of my life” (I thought at the time) when I first saw it, so it was very apropos. HAHA! Oh, and LaLa Land. I saw it on the plane to Hawaii and was literally sobbing so hard I had to turn it off so the people in my row wouldn’t become alarmed. Now every time I see any part of it, I just think of the end and tear up. Total movie crier!
Love these “not so pointy” flats from Sam Star: https://samstarshoes.com/collections/2015-spring-summer-pump-collection/products/12w03-pointybuckle-pumps-with-extra-cushions?variant=7566337998878
Super cushiony and comfy! Just like you, flats are my go-to of late. Ain’t nobody got time for chasing a toddler in heels
Those are cute!
