Rise and shine, morning glory! So…I was just about to type a giddy sentence about how wonderful and joyous this cup of coffee ☕ is, and how much I cherish its preciousness, and then I realized… Wow, I’ve been talking about coffee A LOT lately. Between my favorite MAC liner and the copious quantities of coffee I’ve been consuming and babbling on and on about to keep me semi-functional during the waking hours, I guess this is natural. ?
I haven’t reached Lorelei/Rory Gilmore coffee addiction levels (yet), but I can see where this train is headed, and I question whether anything can stop it.
For now, I’m just gonna roll with it! ?
About that, I found a delicious coffee at Trader Joe’s yesterday! If you like super buttery, smooth coffee, try their Coffee in Light Roast sometime.

Happy Saturday! I have my student showcase tonight – my husband helped put my hair in foam rollers last night. The look is a bit retro / pin-uppy. Gonna do wings, glittery red lips, lots of shine.
I remember one of my little cousins (who’s like 17 now) reading all these books called Warriors about cat warriors she really liked, reminds me of the cat mystery novel link! Also makes me think of the new Sabrina on Netflix. Jiji is good at catching mice but I don’t think he’d solve mysteries with me. Right now he’s on my lap and we’re watching Netflix.

Oh yeah… I’ve seen those Warriors books and have had them on my reading list for forever.
The show theme is Rebirth because it’s the school’s birthday, so my song is called World Away by the band Tonight Alive.
I’ll have to check out that new TJ’s coffee. I recently discovered Cafe Bustelo, which is available at Target and most grocery stores. Man, it’s better (and cheaper) than the Peets and Starbucks coffee I’ve been making at home.
I am a testament to the makeup study findings. I work in healthcare and so many people do NOT wear makeup. Those who do go for the no makeup look. Anyone doing more is kind of seen as frivolous or inappropriate. Probably why I’m afraid of eyeshadow. I’m one of the few people in my department to wear makeup but I’m forever rubbing off my blush or lipstick if I feel like it’s too obvious.

Wow! Your orchid looks so happy! I like to wear makeup to the gym, even just thick liner, brows, gloss and lip pencil makes me feel better, so I do better. My water bottle totally has a ring of glitter around the top?
Thanks for the coffee rec – it sounds right up my alley! I totally laughed at the creepy hug video. We joke with one of our friends whose hug the hubs once rebuffed with “I don’t hug” right before enthusiastically hugging another of our friends. It was all in fun and we’ve had many years of enjoyment from it. I sent the video link to the group. They’ll love it. HAHA!
