I wore this look to death, so yes. At the time I thought I looked super cute, but now I’m pretty sure those capri pants weren’t doing me any favors!

No! I never went there.
Wide belt or trucker hat?
Wide belt. I wasn’t a trucker hat gal.
Long tunic or silky camisole top?
I’ll take the silky camisole top, but only if I can wear it with my low-rise jeans!
Pointy knee-high boots or UGG boots?
Girl, I rocked those pointy knee-high boots like I was a backup dancer in a J. Lo video.
Juicy Couture tracksuits: yes or no?
Yes, although mine wasn’t Juicy Couture. I wore a knock-off set I bought on sale for 50% off from Old Navy!
Pashmina shawl or knit poncho?
Um, both? Not worn at the same time, of course. I lived in San Francisco at the time, and it was always good to have an extra layer for unexpectedly foggy days.
Low-rise jeans or cargo pants?
I wore both types of these pants, and now, looking back, I’m certain neither were flatting for my body type. If I had to choose, though, I’d go with cargo pants, I guess. At least you don’t have to pull them up every 10 minutes.

Skinny scarf or wide headband?
I used to wear both these trends at the same time!

Halter top.

Pearls, baby. They’re a classic.
Baguette bag or oversized embellished bag?
Again, I’m guilty of both of these trends. I think I may have even put my baguette bag inside my oversized embellished bag on many occasion! I guess I’ll go with the oversized bag, because I like having room for all my crap.

Capri pants with heels: yes or no? No…Capris look awful on me and heels are a no go anymore.
Bedazzled jeans: yes or no? NO
Wide belt or trucker hat? Wide belt…Never wore trucker hats…but I do like a cute baseball cap sometimes
Long tunic or silky camisole top? Long tunic with leggings and boots…I am so ready for fall😊. Back then I would have picked the cami.
Pointy knee-high boots or UGG boots? Knee high boots (without the point)…I have never liked UGG boots for some reason.

Low-rise jeans or cargo pants? I will take cargo today. But I was all about the low-rise jeans in my youth. Two c-sections later…never again.

Pointy knee-high boots or UGG boots? I’m short so knee highs have never been on my radar. As for UGG boots–only as apres-ski at the lodge.

Pashmina shawl or knit poncho? I had (and still have) some genuine pashminas. I love them. They looked great as an evening wrap with those slinky, silky tops.
Low-rise jeans or cargo pants? I wore low-rise jeans a lot. Cargo pants just had too much going on.

Skinny scarf or wide headband? Occasionally, I’d wear a skinny scarf around my neck.

Chunky necklace or pearls? Both. Chunky for daytime fun; pearls for evening lux.
Baguette bag or oversized embellished bag? I had a baguette bag. I don’t like embellishments on my purses. Plain and classic is more my style.

Capri pants with heels: yes or no? Though it would be much more flattering, I won’t wear anything with heels.
Bedazzled jeans: yes or no? No. I thought they could be pretty sassy but something so distinctive can only be worn a few times without people thinking you live in the same clothes (unlike a pair of simple, black yoga pants! I see you giving me the side-eye).
Wide belt or trucker hat? Wide belt. Hats are not my friends.
Long tunic or silky camisole top? Long tunic. Even when I weighed 6 lbs soaking wet, I never liked to show much skin.
Pointy knee-high boots or UGG boots? Neither, but I’d do pointy for the fun and UGG for the warmth/comfort.
Juicy Couture tracksuits: yes or no? OMG, I’m still talking about how I want a velour FILA track suit. I know that’s not the question, but I am Team Track Suit all the way! I’ve never had one but have always wanted one!
Pashmina shawl or knit poncho? I guess I’d do the poncho, but with a very tight knit. Not like a macrame plant holder.
Low-rise jeans or cargo pants? Tough decisions here! I have to go with the low rise jeans. 🙂
