I did errands this morning and got boba, but I’m hoping overall for lazy day – fall allergies are killing me. Right now Jiji is on my lap bathing himself.
Speaking of cats, my parents got another cat! My mom manages the county animal shelter, and they recently got some kitties in whose dad passed away, and his favorite was really struggling at the shelter, depressed and not eating. Mom was going to bring him home for the holiday weekend to make sure he did okay and Dad decided he should stay. He’s an 8 or 9 year old tabby named Rambo. Dad’s favorite kitty passed away last year, and he’s had a cat-shaped hole in his heart.
Wow…I can’t believe it!! Bury Me Beneath the Willow is one of my favorite songs. I’m into Bluegrass music, and that’s a really old song. After I heard Chris Thile sing it, I fell in love with the song. Fun fact…Chris Thile is originally from the San Francisco area, and used to be in the group Nickel Creek.
It’s a beautiful song! I’ll have to look up the version you like!

I just started watching Ted Lasso and love it. I challenge anyone to watch it and not want to be a kinder, more positive person. It was not at all what I expected.
