So…what is the Monday Poll?
Excellent question! It isn’t, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like with little clicky buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007).

These days, no.

My friend Kelly. She’s the mom of Coywolf’s bestie from preschool, and we became buddies two years ago.
4. Coffee today?
Yes, yes and yes. I had my first cup when I woke up at 6:00 a.m., and now I’m looking forward to a decaf or a half-calf at lunch.
5. Jumpsuit or dress?
Both! But if I had to pick one, I’d go with a dress with pockets.
6. What’s for lunch today?
A big bowl of fresh, crunchy veggies (I’m trying to get in my five servings every day), and an Amy’s frozen meal. Have you ever had the Indian Mattar Paneer? SO GOOD. I’m craving it today.
7. A fun game you like to play?
Connor has a bingo game for kids called Zingo that I really enjoy, LOL! If you have any children in your life and you need a present, I highly recommend it!
8. What’s on your lips today?
Ilia Tinted Balmy Gloss in Tahiti, my favorite for video meetings.
9. Something good that happened to you in January?
I started reading again before bed and finished quite a few books. It’s fun, and it makes me feel good!

3. Someone you plan to see this week? My boss & our receptionist – actually going into the office tomorrow!
4. Coffee today? The biggest one I could find LOL
5. Jumpsuit or dress? Gosh I want to find a jumpsuit that fits SO bad, but I’m 6′ and a super long torso and it’s not a good situation. So, dress.
6. What’s for lunch today? Adult lunchable: turkey pepperoni, gf crackers, vegan cheese (chao slices!), and choc covered almonds.
7. A fun game you like to play? Have been throwing it back on videogames and playing Spyro on my Switch.
8. What’s on your lips today? Just chapstick – Mongo Kiss in vanilla honey.
9. Something good that happened to you in January? Um…. I didn’t get covid? It was a generic URI instead? January was rough, not gonna lie!
Happy almost February to you, too! Isn’t it wild to be going to the office? I went in for the first time in December after starting this job in September, and it was almost like an out-of-body experience to be there in a room with people who I’d only met on camera.

Never!!

No plans at all this week, other than the usual.

I’m not a big coffee drinker, so no.

Dress. I can’t deal with that whole bathroom situation that jumpsuits bring with them.

I had a big breakfast, so I just snacked for lunch.

We like the card game Phase 10.

Good old Laneige lip balm. All day, every day. 😄
9. Something good that happened to you in January?
I got a good start on a big ‘clean out my closets, etc.’ project. (Side note: the different kinds of hangers that are available are mind-boggling!) I broke out of a reading slump, also, so I was happy about that.
Funny you should mention hangers because I need to buy some! I bought a whole bunch of inexpensive ones from Marshalls a while back and they all broke. 🙁

2. Super sticky lipgloss: yes or no? No. Never. I hated lipgloss for so long because it was sticky.
3. Someone you plan to see this week? One of my besties from high school, we’re having dinner tonight. And I’ll see my best friend in life this week too.
4. Coffee today? Yes. Morning coffee always, and my 16 year old wants to hit Starbucks after school.
5. Jumpsuit or dress? Dress, with pockets.
6. What’s for lunch today? A sub sandwich with all the veggies!
7. A fun game you like to play? Merge Mansion on my iPad. You can only make so many merges per day, so I don’t spend all day on it.
8. What’s on your lips today? Just lip balm today.
9. Something good that happened to you in January? I just got back from a quick trip to the central coast to visit my 95 year old Grandma.

Jumpsuit with pockets. I feel like I have more freedom of movement without risk of exposure.
6. What’s for lunch today?
Grams’ potato puff. It’s a mix of instant potato’s (dehydrated potato), hot milk, cream cheese, egg and paprika (maybe butter. Can’t remember) beaten together and thrown in the oven. It puffs up; hence the name and it’s sooooo good.
7. A fun game you like to play?
We will all play Sequence or Yahtzee as a family.
8. What’s on your lips today?
Burt’s Bee.
9. Something good that happened to you in January?
It’s my dog’s and my birthday today! Bree is 8; I am 33.

3. Someone you plan to see this week? No plans, infection rates are still way too high here. I’m hoping to start making plans in about a month given current trends.

I forgot the last question. January good things. My husband totaled his car (NOT good and it wasn’t his fault). There are NO good used cars around here anywhere. I had a nail in the tire of my vehicle and went to our family-owned repair shop. They’d just taken in on consignment an SUV like our old one but better condition and less miles and up on ALL repairs and sold it to us for about $3000 less than what we’d found online (we’ve been customers for 10 years. Yay!
