Happy Caturday, my friend. WE MADE IT. I’ve got a billion boxes to unpack this morning, but I wanted to pop in and say a quick hi. I hope your weekend is off to a great start.
This week’s reading
- “Vogue” editors share their hero makeup products. Note to self: grab the NYX eyebrow glue next time I’m at Ulta.
- A real life “Emily in Paris” walks you through how to get the French girl makeup look. Oui, oui!
- Food notes in perfume are a thing.
- The 100 greatest fragrances of all time, according to “WWD.” Do you see any of your favorites on the list?
- Speaking of scents, the fragrance industry has a complicated relationship with climate change.
What’s the plan for today? I hope you’re doing something relaxing.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Oh yeah! Cheers for relaxing on the sofa with Rosie!
Packing and unpacking is such a chore. Ugh. Good luck with that. Don’t forget to take occasional breaks. Would love to see your new floors and new decor. Of course, only if you want to share.
Hope there is some time in the weekend for relaxation and fun!
Yay! Glad you’re near the end!
Thanks for the articles! I’ll have to browse through that top fragrances list! My go-to scents aren’t in there but maybe I’ll find something new! Also like the article on the environmental impact of fragrance.
I wanted to try that Nyx brow glue (i dyed my brows so I’m not needing tint right now) but tocopherol gives me eczema, which is sad because it’s in EVERYTHING.
Hope the Easter bunny brings some good things! We’re going to dinner and an Easter egg hunt at Zack’s sister’s. They’re only 5 minutes away from our new house, and we actually had dinner with them tonight! It’s so nice. Tomorrow will definitely be chaotic though, ten great nephews and nieces.
I am off on holiday with the kids, so yes, very relaxing indeed. Although I don’t have a couch as comfy as yours here!
