Your favorite clear brow gel also tames stubby stray hairs and flyaways!
You know the wild hairs that love to point in every single direction except the one you want? Mine are usually right at the edge of my hairline, or somewhere in my part. Anywho, when you’re finished putting the final touches on your brows with your favorite clear brow gel, take the wand, and then comb those crazy hairs down.
I’ve been doing this lately with my Anastasia Clear Brow Gel, and my flyaways are considerably less crazy. Try it the next time you’ve got stray hairs that need some taming.
Building those happiness muscles, day three

OK, so on today’s gratefulness list, I gotta give a shout-out to my washer and dryer. LOL! Since I’m forever doing laundry, it’s very helpful to have a washer and dryer inside my house. When El Hub and I lived in our apartment, I had to drag my laundry up and down a flight of stairs, and I had to always make sure that we had quarters around to feed the machine. I don’t miss that at all!
Also, thank goodness for Post-its. I’m the type of person who needs to physically write something down with a pen or pencil on paper in order for it to sink in, and so I’m constantly scribbling on Post-its. I really like the colorful ones, and the ones with fun shapes and prints.
If you feel like adding to the happiness list, I’ll see ya in the comments.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
P.S. TGIF!
These were the first two songs I heard this morning.
Move on up!
If you have Apple TV, this show is great, by the way.

I feel like I learned about that trick with that brow gel here on the blog many years ago, when I started reading here.
I will add to the grateful list: Having a laundry room in the basement where I can hang the clothes to dry, so I don’t need a dryer (saves energy and money) and don’t have to worry about it crowding my space!
The brow gel tip is a tried-and-true one! Also works great with clear mascara. (Maybelline Great Lash is my fav for this trick.)
This week, I’m grateful for bottled water. It’s not good for the environment, so I do not love that part. But ever since the hurricane came through (almost four years ago- what?!), our city water has been super shady and weird. And no one will officially admit it. It’s even weird when it’s run through our expensive refrigerator filter. So bottled water it is and I’m so thankful we have access to it, because I’m very aware that not everyone does.
Some of the things I think we’re all grateful for is your sunny smile, your ability to laugh at yourself, and your willingness to share your vulnerability. Your hair, by the way, is absolutely gorgeous. The grey is so silvery. I don’t think you’ll ever regret joining the silver fox club 😃
I am grateful for Saturdays and Sundays off work to regroup and re-energize for the week ahead.
I am grateful for my siblings who have given me the greatest niece and nephews in the world. They have given me the inspiration to get through the pandemic. My niece is a miniature version of her mother, my little sister. And my brother’s two little ones are such beautiful little red heads with smiles that make my heart smile more than I thought possible.
