Well, hey there, friend. Happy Caturday to you! Look what I found at Cost Plus a few weeks ago. Did you ever have this candy when you were a kid? I used to eat it all the time. We’d ride our bikes down to what all the neighborhood kids called “The Chinese Store” in the old part of town, park our wheels in the front (without having to lock them up!), and we’d go inside to buy popsicles, Lemonheads and Boton Rice Candy. Gotta love those summertime core memories!

My chin and I felt seen! Ah, hormones. I got a prescription for tretinoin and oral anitbiotics to hopefully quiet these flares.

My husband bought me that candy once because of the kitty on it!
My derm recently switched me from Differin to Tretinoin and it’s clearing up so many bumps that have been there for years and bringing other things to the surface, but it’s definitely intense. Right now we’re on vacation at King’s Dominion outside of Richmond VA so I’m slathering on sunscreen, wearing a hat, and wearing basically a swimsuit cover up over my clothes.
I’m glad to hear that it’s helping. I tried Differin back in the day, but my skin did NOT like it. Have fun on your vacation!
I swear by Tretinoin for my hormonal chin acne, it is the only thing that helps enough to not make me break out every other day…
