Victoria’s Secret Beauty is having a downright fantastic clearance sale on several high-end makeup brands, some as much as 75 percent off! My little black heart fluttered when I spotted all the products by Anna Sui.

Anna Sui Eye Color, $5.99 (originally $12) – I’ve been a bit more adventurous with my powder eyeshadow colors lately. I might pick up a few bold shades.
Very Sexy Makeup Long-Wear Eye Cream, $5.99 (originally $12) – I like layering cream eyeshadows beneath powder shadows to amplify color and add dimension. The shade I’ve really got my eye on is Stay Up, a turquoise blue.
Vincent Longo La Dolce Vita Lash Tips, $5.99 (originally $14) – One of my goals this summer is to get better at applying false lashes. I love that these look glamorous without going over the top.
The Balm Stainiac, $5.99 (originally $14) – This multitasking, water-based gel doubles as a light cheek and lip stain. Beauty Queen, a bright hot pink, has my name written all over it. 🙂
Vincent Longo Lipstain SPF 15 Lipstick, $8.99 (originally $23) – A dewy, moisturizing lipstick with SPF? I want Foolish Virgin (LOL, someone in their marketing department has a sense of humor), a sheer pink.
Anna Sui Rouge S Shimmer Lipstick, $6.99 (originally $20) – I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I want all of these shimmery pink, coral and nude lipsticks. Isn’t the purple packaging cute?
Lipmann Collection Nail Polish Sampler Kit, $6.99 (originally $21) – Brides-to-be, take note. These mini-polish kits would make nice additions to your bridesmaid gift bags! There are two sets, one with pink and red shades; the second for a French manicure.
Anna Sui Nail Color, $4.99 (originally $13) – I’m still in a crazy nail color phase. I can see myself wearing 611 (a glittery red-orange shade) on my toes this summer.
Vincent Longo Diamond Lip Gloss $8.99 (originally $22) – I have a major weakness for lipglosses, and these are no exception. Coral Cabana, Lavender Mews and Berry Crush all caught my eye.
Very Sexy Brilliant Lip Shine, $7.99 (originally $12) – Quiver (a gold) is the only one of these ultra-shiny, shimmery lipglosses on sale. Good thing it’s the one I want!

I love sales as VS, especially when beauty products go on sale. I’m interested in trying the Vincent Longo lip & cheek gel stain in Coral. I have never tried lip stains before, but the Coral is so pretty I can’t resist.
To answer your question on why I wear black/dark colors to work: No, I don’t work at MAC or any make-up counter (though I wish I did). I work as a sales associate in a massage/spa. Dark and neutral colors keep the place looking very professional 🙂

I have those vincent logo lashes! They last SO LONG, and I abuse them and they’re still intact! ZOMG I’m So buying those anna sui nail polishes! Plus they don’t smell like nail polish either! I really like her products but the rose oil smell gets me me at times. for some reason I have a horrid allergic reaction to some of her products…

a while back i purchased the very sexy makeup long wear eye cream shadow in a purple color, and it so burned the heck out of my eyes. i have no idea why. i have used no name cheap drugstore makeup, designer makeup and everything in between, and no makeup ever burned my eyes. only this one form vs, and when i went to the store they did not want me to exchange for another product so i was stuck with it, but never used it again.

I have to admit, I have a strange aversion to my makeup telling me it’s very sexy! It just annoys me! That said, that Anna Sui lipstick looks worth having for the packaging alone (and that’s a rare statement for me)! I’ve tried the VL glosses, and they’re a little on the thin side, but have beautiful payoff! I was sampling Lavender Mews at Sephora some months ago and was quite taken by it! I ended up going with another color, so perhaps I’ll grab LM at this fab price!

Do you have the Viva Glam V lipstick or lipgloss? Have you brought empty containers to Back 2 MAC? I brought 6 containers yesterday and got a free lipstick but the sales associate did not give me the carton. She also said I was not supposed to pop the pan out of the container.
I also got Prrr lipglass but I’m not feeling it. May go back and exchange for Viva glam V lipstick since I kept on picking it up and putting it down yesterday 🙂

Yup, I’ve tried all the Viva Glam lipsticks and a few of the glosses. I love ’em! Also, it’s been awhile since I’ve done back to MAC and I’m severely over-due. I have a lot of empty brush cleaner bottles that need to go back. Last time I went I got Syrup lipstick. 🙂
