So…what is the Monday Poll?
Excellent question! It isn’t, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like with little clicky buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007).
1. Are you more creative or analytical?
I feel like I’m more on the creative side, for sure. I do have to say that it’s useful in doing analytical things, though; I can often use it to come at problems in different ways.
2. Something you find tedious?
Any type of online meeting that has to deal with sorting out forms or processes.
3. Are you sporty?
Not in the team sports sense, no. I used to be able to run like a hamster on a wheel, though.
4. Pineapple or cantaloupe?
Pineapple. I like cantaloupe but sometimes it makes my tongue itch.
5. Three words that describe how your makeup has been looking lately?
Minimal. Somewhat haphazard.

1. Are you more creative or analytical? Probably more creative (not to be confused with crafty…because I am most definitely not). I think a creative mind can make you a bit crazy😜.
2. Something you find tedious? Work🫤…I work in government.
3. Are you sporty? Yes…not as far as teams. Maybe I should say athletic.

5. Three words that describe how your makeup has been looking lately? I feel kind of stuck in a rut with makeup lately. I want (need) to change some things…and I am just struggling. I want to spend less time on my makeup and to develop better techniques for my age (40’s). Especially with the eyes. I watched a Wayne Goss video today that I think I may try this weekend.

Creative.

Meal planning and making dinner every darn day. It turns cooking, something I love, into a chore, and I resent it.

Definitely not.

I love pineapple! Not a fan of any melons, unless cantaloupe Life Savers count, lol.
5. Three words that describe how your makeup has been looking lately?
Simple. Not glam.
1. Are you more creative or analytical? I guess I’m a bit of both depending on the circumstances. When it comes to anything related to our business concerns, I’m analytical and detail oriented. When it comes to family, friends, and home, I can easily harness my ideas and be quite creative.
2. Something you find tedious? Doing the laundry!
3. Are you sporty? I like how Mandy chose to describe it—athletic. I’ve never cared for team sports, but I love individual ones.
4. Pineapple or cantaloupe? Do I have to choose? I love icy cold spears of fresh pineapple but I also love those little (about 3” diameter) cantaloupes I get from a French produce market.
5. Three words that describe how your makeup has been looking lately? Minimal, minimal, and minimal. Oh! And did I say minimal? I’ve doing a lot of yard clean up after all the winter storms we had. All I need is my big brimmed gardening hat and my trusty sunscreen.

1. Are you more creative or analytical? Analytical, but also creative. If you’re familiar with the 4-character personality codes, I straddle INFJ and INTJ when I take the test. Not an easy life. There are so many videos on YouTube about INFJ, especially. If you haven’t seen Frank James on YouTube, you might get a kick out of watching his mostly humorous videos about the personality types (with an emphasis on INFJ, as that is what he says he is).
2. Something you find tedious? Pretty much every aspect of my job, but especially going over reports, looking for errors that in the big scheme of things, don’t really matter. At my age I can feel my time running out, and I hate wasting it on things no one will remember or care about within a year.
3. Are you sporty? No. Though I was better in school athletics than I was ever given credit for.
4. Pineapple or cantaloupe? Cantaloupe.
5. Three words that describe how your makeup has been looking lately? Not yet perfect.
1. Are you more creative or analytical? More creative but my husband is analytical (being a scientist) so we’re a good team
2. Something you find tedious? Washing and putting dishes away
3. Are you sporty? Yes. I played tennis as a young adult, play golf now, and pickleball might be inevitable

Good question. I’m a bit more creative than I am analytical.

Sorting through paper. Forms, bills, to do lists, etc

Not at all.
