What’s up, ladies? Can I get your help with something? Sarah Jessica Parker’s coming to the Bay Area this week to promote her latest fragrance, Covet Pure Bloom, and I’m interviewing her for the blog. I have to come up with a list of fragrance and beauty questions.
As Carrie Bradshaw, she wore a lot of sky high heels, so I may ask how she deals with stilettos, not that I plan to wear Manolos any time soon. I get my heels on sale at Zappos, girl!
SJP will be at the Macy’s Stoneridge Shopping Center (1300 Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton) in the Fragrance Department this Thursday, July 17 at noon. The store will also have available exclusive fragrance gift sets of products from SJP’s Lovely Sarah Jessica Parker collection ($167). Wow, I’m so insanely jealous, but yet not jealous at the same time because I think I would be too nervous to interview her. I second wanting to know what products she uses in her hair when she wears it curly. Also, what is her favorite pink lippie? I’d also like to know about her fitness routine and how she keeps her abs and thighs so toned!
Wow Karen, I’m impressed! I’m also jealous, I love SJP, she’s so fabulous and yet she seems totally down to earth. I think growing up in a low income family as one of six children probably has a lot to do with her humble attitude.
I would like to know if she would be interested in coming out with an affordable hair, skin, or makeup line. I love her motivation for creating the Bitten clothing line, she feels like great fashion should be affordable for ALL women. I think it would be awesome if she would create an affordable and effective beauty line of some sort. Have fun on your interview!!! Congrats!

Okay so I just watched that video of the Sarah Jessica Parker interview. And the ending was really shocking. Did I HEAR that correctly? After SJP says she likes to think of herself as every woman, the voice over guy says: “You are every woman, and I can’t wait to get into your bloom.” DIRTY!!!!
Definitely ask her about dealing with stilettos, or any high heels. I can’t fathom how she can wear Manolos without a problem and I can barely get by in kitten heels.

Oh man, you are one heck of a lucky blogger. I don’t think any celeb will come to my town for a signing or promo or anything…except T-Pain of course because dude was born and raised in T-town (the “T” in T-Pain is the same “T” in the name of the town).

I’m probably just going to wear a black dress or suit. I am very petite and look fairly young so I always have to wear heels and dress up a little so that I look older when I do interviews.

I cannot wait to read that interview! I adore her and “Sex and the City”. I def. second the questions above about her favorite, die-without-them products and how she keeps her hair so well kept when it’s curly (I have crazy, curly hair like hers and would love to hear her suggestions).
The only question I can think of is a non-beauty related question, but I’ve always wondered if she’d consider doing a musical with her husband (I’m a big fan of them both. 🙂 ).

I’ll have to check that one out sometime. I just googled it and it looks pretty good. I’ve been slowly getting in theater more this year, so far my favorite musical is “Kiss Me, Kate”. If you can believe it, I still haven’t seen “West Side Story”, but it’s near the top of my list.

Omg, I AM SO JEALOUS! I worship Sex and the City, it is seriously the ONLY thing in the world that makes me feel better when I am upset, especially with boy problems. I have to admit that West Side Story is my favorite because I’ve been in the show twice, one in the orchestra pit and once as a performer (I was a Jet girl). Seeing it on stage is great, but the movie is also good to.
