These lip stain markers seem really cool. I have a problem where I tend to have color collect on the edge of my lips, and it’s really frustrating. I tend to go for long-wear lipstick so I don’t have to check my lips every half hour to see if I have the ring of color or not. These seem like a good way to go!

I went and bought Mac fix+ today after ready lots of good reviews about it online. I sprayed some on here at work and I must say, I love it! Maybe its just my imagination since I love MAC products, but I really do see a difference.

Today I did the Diet-Coke-and-Mentos trick with a bunch of elementary school kids as part of a science enrichment program. One of the bottles tumped over and shot across the parking lot. It was cool.

I just branched out of my colour zone and bought a turqoise teal with green shimmer nail polish and a yellow one too! On sale for $1.99 each (Salle Hansen Xtreme Wear) and I am totally excited! For a girl who has religiously stuck to pinks and reds and the occasiona l purple or green these are going to be exciting summer colours.. I can just feel it from the tips of my fingers and toes 😉

I saw the Wet n Wild Color Icon single e/s for $0.78 at my grocery store today and i was trying soooo hard not to buy it. It’s cheap, but the last thing i need in my collection is something i don’t need.
I love my mom, but sometimes I really just want to leave home because she has meltdowns/temper tantrums/hissy fits and throws things around. It happens often enough that it’s more supremely annoying than anything else.
Sweet shade of red! Tomorrow morning bright and early I drive down to Virginia to watch my baby sister graduate from college. They grow up so fast!

I LOVE Natasha Beddinfield!! She’s one of my ultimate faves! (Yes, I totally loved Unwritten before it was just “the hills themesong” LOL!!!) Her albums, particularly Unwritten, got me through one of the hardest times in my life! Love her!! SO MUCH! We need more strong women like her singing words like those to young girls!

I just changed my beauty routine, to see if my skin clears up in time for the summer! I cleanse with Alepo soap (super cheap, milenary traditional soap from Syria) and then moisturize with an aloe-infused cream (also super cheap).
If it works, my skin, my wallet and my whole self will be soooo happy!

Yesterday my umbrella smashed into a car, I was surprised and fell on the car, the mirror broke :(. Now my upperleg is all bruised up. I can barely walk :s. I thought my day was ruined.
But my sweet little sister bought me a new nailpolish in a ashy sea-green/emerald colour! Made my whole week better :3. Catrice nail lacquer in the colour 250 “I Sea You”.

I have a huge bureau and 3 small drawers on one side are clothing. One drawer is socks, next is underwear and the last is nightgowns. Everything else is makeup, etc! My nail polish is seperate in 2 plastic 6 drawer containers. Plus I have 5 other big containers with polish. Polish is my favorite. My makeup is filling the drawers to the top. I don’t even know what’s in every bag. I try to keep everything seperate and use all the makeup bags I get from the gift with purchase. My lipsticks are out of control also. I just love makeup. I just got finished reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and I have to say, thumbs up all the way. In the beginning, I wasn’t so sure if the author was one of those annoying writer asses who seemingly congratulate themselves on every perceivable witty comment here or there, which, unfortunately, totally ruins it for me however witty the writing actually is, and however brill the book is…which he does. Still. I recommend it!

I’ve been using Sam Brocato’s Cloud 9 Blowout Miracle Repair Blow Dry Serum for about a month and I really like it (they could work on shortening up the name though). It’s great for adding volume and giving a soft hold. Definitely a keeper for me.
I’m still on the hunt for my HG foundation. I can’t wait for Mac’s release of To The Beach!

I’m at home today, on my days off, recuperating from a little accident with a Q-tip and my right ear which sent me to the after-hours medical clinic Monday. The doctor told me to put mineral oil in my ear twice daily and if that doesn’t resolve it I need to go back and get my ear flushed. Apparently this is painful. :\ It’s messed up my hearing, which is not good for someone who works on the phones!
(folks, don’t do what I did and try to clean ears out with Q-tips)

I don’t have a favourite song neither a favourite group, I love music in general!
My favourite song at the moment is probably Fireflies by Owl City! And when I have a ‘favourite’ album, I will listen to it for about 4-5 days on repeat, until I get sick of it, or until my boyfriend asks me to stop playing it.

And I have a rant. My new boss is treating me like a girl. I’m a marina hand, so I work with gas and engines and mowing a lot and he keeps acting like I don’t know anything and it’s annoying me more than most things ever would. Why is it that because I’m female I don’t know anything about boats or parts or lawn care?

One thing I love about your blog is Tabs. Is that short for anything, or his full name? I ask because I once had a cat whose name was Tabitha, and I called her Tabby. She was a great cat, strong personality, knew her own mind and always got her own way! Your Tabs, although he seems to get his own way most of the time, too, seems like a mellower kind of guy. I wish the Web had been around when my Tabby was; I could have immortalized her the way you’re doing with Tabs. 🙂
