Just received my Bella Colore Minerali kit by Borghese from BeautyStory.com (only $16!!!).. Includes 3 mineral loose eyeshadows, “Golden Moss” is the perfect dark khaki! I swatched all 3 colors on my hand then proceeded to wash dishes – guess what? Color still on & true!! Yaaaay! Should be perfect for my oily ( think BP in the Gulf =( ) lids..
On Saturday night I went to see a movie in the Hollywood Forever Cementery. It was a first but its something they do all summer. It was actually quite fun! You walk through when its still light out to the back corner where there’s an empty grass lot and you lay out blankets and eat, drink whatever you want as the sun sets and you watch the movie 🙂 I had a good weekend. Hope you did too!

I went to a Taylor Swift concert for my last birthday!
I’ve used Aveeno lotion for around a week now instead of the Clinique one and today (with the help of a little translucent powder before work) I didn’t go super shiny / oily! I’m so pumped to come back and look human and not alien that it totally had to be my comment.
Also the Boscia face cleanser episode has finally been reversed – that stuff is so potent with drying out skin – leaving beautiful matte skin the first week, but scales forever after. TOTALLY HAPPY RIGHT NOW.
I don’t really have any best eyeshadow combo in terms of brands or shades… but I like bright colors! Hehehe… I love to combine greens with blues… from matte to shimmer, sheer to bold… I don’t usually use blue alone as I find it looks dirty on my lids… Please do some tutorial on green and blue combo, I love to watch tutorials! hahaha..

I did some shopping at Ulta today to use my rewards program gift. I got Orly’s Royal Navy nail polish which I’ve been lemming like crazy. Score. So as soon as I got home I did a nautical theme mani. 🙂 Oh and I may have also taken a few NYX liners, L’Oreal HIP eyeshadow duals, and a gorgeous glittery grape lipgloss from Essence, home. Also I got two Stila smudge pots in electric blue and ultra violet from a sample sale website. So I pretty much did some major kick ass hauling. 😀

ACK! My one weakness! Gourmet food! I prefer Italian/Greek, myself, but I’ve certainly never been known to pass up a hot plate of Bacon wrapped Crissaunts. That’s french, right? Oh well, much too late to check spelling and/or cuisine nationality.
I found a simple purple shirt with a sequined pocket for $4.99 so I bought it & wore ti today. I love a good bargain for simple tee’s, forget 2 for $20 deals *eye roll*
most of my friends have started their first days in college already while I’m still having my holidays! i’m feeling a lil’ guilty+ nervous+ relieved..

Well I woke up Sunday to find that my dog somehow managed to get into my eyeshadow pouch…and he decided to use them as chew toys. So since I am now limited to a couple mineral eyeshadows that survived the attack (they”re in a tub with a screw off top). I was so beyond mad, but I guess it could be worse..
Greens are my favorite eyeshadows and am a collector, am always wearing mac humid on my lids with black eyeliner and mascara and am outta the door , this would be a nice addition to my stash

My favorite eyeshadow combo at the moment? A really simple bronze look, just to keep the summer thoughts high! I just use dazzlelight all over my lid and put ambrelights in my crease. It’s really simple, but it looks great!
I’ve been loving blue and teal shadows lately, they make by brown eyes look really good:). Oh, and i’m kinda craving some Chinese food at the moment…Beef teriyaki anyone?
My fav of the moment is a bright sparkly eye. Nylon in the inner third, All that Glitters on the lid, Brown down in the outer V, and then for a pop of color, I add steamy to the inner crease! Sometimes, I’ll go back and add a pat of Coral Crepe over the center of the lid for even more contrast.
Lately I have been returning to an old fav, Too Faced Natural Eye palette. Although, to punch it up a bit I have been using Sidecar from UD Naked Palette to smoke out my look. Love those two palettes together! Tres chic!
I’ve been using taupe all over my lid, with espresso in the crease and phloof on the brow bone. Really pretty and very quick.

Green eyeshadow is always a spring color for me. I know there are no rules when you can wear which color, but bright greens always say “spring” to me. In the middle of winter I’ll wear them just to cheer myself up. 🙂

for the win: i am absolutely addicted to lipsticks. i can’t help but search for new ones and buy, buy, buy. i always go for a neutral eye, if anything, and always a winged eyeliner, so lipstick is the way i have a pop of color and loudness.

I recommend everyone to eat at Fleur de Lys here in SF once in their lifetime. My husband, the pickiest eater in the world, even enjoyed this place. No – it’s definitely NOT a one $ price place it’s more like $$$$ but so worth it.

An old favorite eyeshadow combo that I am starting to wear all the time again is my MAC pigment in Apricot Pink on the inner 2/3 of my eyelid with Coppering eyeshadow in the outer 1/3 with Shroom as a highlight.
My current favorite eye shadow is Sugarpill’s After Party. I keep mixing it, layering it and wearing it on its own.
Probably cause I’m dying for fall to just get here already, but my new fav eyeshadow combo is MAC Star Violet on the lid (only up to the crease) with MAC Sketch on the lower lash line a la a beautifl pic I recently saw of Kristen Stewart rocking a similar look!

I don’t like it when I go for a facial and they groom my eyebrows with a razor because shaving gives you ingrown hairs so I think that shaping your brows with a razor will also give you ingrown hairs.

I am currently loving Urban Decay ‘Mildew’ on my lids with ‘Maui Wowie’ dusted up to the browbone. I had always stayed away from green eyeshadow, but think this combo is unusual but elegant. My friends always compliment me on my eye make up when I go out with it on.

My current favorite combo includes a taupe shade (right now one of the many taupe samples I bought from Alima Pure) on the lid with bright purple mineral shadow (bought from TKB Trading) as eyeliner.

I’m wearing this iron-on t-shirt I made! We came up with the design for my family’s shirt for my organization and it’s pretty awesome. We were called Two Chicks and a Stick (there were two girls and one guy as Big Sibs) and it has two little cute chicks, one holding a gun, and this board from the show Ed, Edd, and Eddy.

My favorite eyeshadow combo right now is anything from Urban Decay’s Naked Palette. There are so many different options and looks to choose from………I’m totally in love!
Lately I’ve been loving the UD Naked Palette, I’ve been using Naked, Smog and Virgin a lot lately! It’s a nice semi smoky eye for day. 🙂

Heyyyy Karen<3333 As for French food: I love anything greasy and overpriced, and if it's hard to pronounce I'll probably enjoy it even more 🙂 I was at a CCO wayyyyyyt down south almost in Mexico like two weeks ago… I kept buying random things just because EVERYTHING was like 10 bucks lol… I've never seen anything for just 10 bucks!!! A lot of it's fun, some of it's ok… But my faavorite thing is an eyeshadow from the Starflash collection called Fashion. It's a gorgeous blue-toned silver with tiny microscopic blue and purple reflects. Or maybe I just think that's what color they are lol… It's kinda like Idol Eyes but much smoother and more pigmented. I've been wearing Fashion like crazyyyyy… I usually wear it with Carbon in the outer V… But I've done a lot of fun looks with this… I guess silver is just a little more versatile than I thought 🙂 Mmmmkay… What's Tabs' current fave eyeshadow combo?
I wasn’t going to do anything for my birthday – was feeling a bit down- but my friends gave me a great BBQ. Alot of my friends showed up which made me feel loved!

I took up making mineral eyeshadows as a hobby, and I’ve made five eyeshadows so far. 😀
Current favorite eyeshadow: wet n wild color icon singles in “creme brulee”, its the perfect matte shadow that I use for blending any other shadow color as well as highlighting my brow bone.
Normally I comment off of something you suggested but I just wanted to say that today was a SUPER AMAZING DAY! My Dad and I are getting along so great and we went and saw a movie together. I am truly starting to feel like his daughter and I am so happy! I’d really love the green eye shadow because, not only is that one of my Dad’s fav colors but the eyeshadow is gorgeous and I heart MAC!
