I can’t make it much longer… It’s imperative that I be poolside soon, and warm, wearing Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Sea Star Bronzing Blush ($34) on my cheeks.
Sea Star is a golden peachy pink blush, both pigmented and shimmery, from the new limited edition Bronze Goddess Soleil Summer 2011 collection, and I’m guessing it’ll look great on a wide range of skin tones. To use it, I mix the colors that comprise the pink sea star with the sandy peach background in the pan; to me, the combined shade looks like a slightly less shimmery version of the lovely NARS Orgasm.
If you’re lighter than I am and looking for a way to wear Sea Star, try using it as a gentle wash of color applied with a fan brush. I bet that would look great. 🙂
It is a touch expensive, but at least it comes in a big pan. If you’re on the market for a peachy pink golden blush to defeat the doldrums of winter, Sea Star could hit the spot.

Checked this out last night at Nordstrom and thought it was pretty on the compact but for my NC42 complexion had to pile it on so I skipped it. I bought the Bronze Goddess Soleil and the gold and bronze eye pencil instead. Will be going back for the Bronze Goddes Eau Fraiche. Also got some samples of their skin care and I really like their daywear moisturizer and night cream. The daywear made my skin so smooth. Has anyone tried their skin care? Any recommendations. Trying to prevent wrinkles and sagging.

I always thought Estee Lauder was for not for me because its projects its clients is for old folks, however when I found out, a lot of other companies are under them, ex) Clinque & mac I figure I should give them a try. Most of these child companies use the same formula for products but change it up depending on client. Their skin care is better than most of their child companies. So give it a try or get samples and decide on yourself.

I just purchased this bronzer at Macy’s and they also had the bonus sale going on. So I received a cute makeup bag full of makeup samples form Estee Lauder and the starfish bronzer. Can’t wait for summer to get here.

Wow, I like the look of this! I have never bought anything from Estee Lauder in my life as it always seemed like an old-lady brand, but lately they’ve been coming out with some pretty nifty things. I might have to put my prejudices in the past (and risk looking like an old lady when I pull my lipstick out) and get a couple pieces from this collection.
I just ordered this and I’m wondering if the design is ruined after you use it a couple of times? I’m also wondering if the pretty golden sheen is just over spray. This is such a gorgeous bronzer/blush.

I LOVE the starfish design so much! It’s a gorgeous poolside decoration piece you’d pull out, stylishly check yourself and do a little maintenance work.
Is the starfish sprayed on? It’d be a shame if it disappears after a few uses, like the Mac To the Beach sea horse one last year. Ah, bring on the summer now!

I have been wanting this since the first time I saw the promo pic… I read this post this afternoon & I ran out the door to Macy’s! It is so gorgeous! I love it! They’re selling out fast b/c of the free gift. Which includes your choice of cool or warm toned eyeshadow quad, lipstick, mascara, & your choice of facial cream, cream makeup remover & advanced night repair serum & a cute bag! Yes it pricey but the SA said it should last for two years! Much prettier than orgasm & it serves two puroses!

estee lauder is in gift at my macys. granted i work in cosmetics in macys. the moment we opened this from the freight box, i excused myself to get my wallet. pathetic, i know. LOVE bronze goddess collection! i also bought the double ended shadow stick. i’m an nw20 and this looks amazing on me. after 6-7 hours into a work shift the pink has faded some but the bronze stays so it looks like i’m bronzed and contoured. i love this product. i was surprisingly pleased with the staying power.
