My mom made me an ice cream cake one birthday. It was a big deal because we lived in the country & the nearest Baskin Robbins was hours away, so it was made from scratch in flavors I picked out. We ate cake outside on the picnic table, cleared the table to inside & left the cake out in the middle of the table. We came back outside & the neighbor’s dog had helped himself to the leftovers!

My husband and I started walking towards my son’s restaurant in New Orleans Square and then my husband pushed the buzzer on the door at Club 33. The rest is a blur – but there were all the people I loved waiting for me in Walt Disney’s Private Room. BEST.BIRTHDAY.EVER. (yes – I’m a Diznoid)

I love bare minerals, but since they are a bit on the pricey side it’s been years since I’ve treated myself to any :/ Their face powders are the best! I love that they don’t make me break out <3 I've never tried their eye products, but those eye primers look ah-maze-ing!
As for cakes… I've never been much of a cake eater. Unless it's home made, or icecream cake, then I MIGHT eat the entire thing. If you put a plain old, store bought cake in front of me though… Not interested. Hmmm does this make me spoiled?? 😉 haha

My most memorable birthday was when I turned 5 (so long ago!). I got sick that year, but my mom still let me have my party, and my friends still came. The Pocahontas cake I had made the day perfect.

One BE product that is my stizle right now is the new cleanser. I got it when it launched at QVC and I loooves it! They aired a super-size version during thier QVC anniversary and I was alllll over it. I also really like Mineral Veil. I have it in like 3 versions.
A birthday that was memorable was when I was an RA for the summer. My summer staff took me to dinner and I got one of those big margarita’s from Ruby Tuesday. The glass was hhhhuuugeee!!!! Later that night a RA from my staff during the school year has the same birthday as me and had a party off campus. Let’s just say I got chocolate wasted and played my first game of beer pong. It was a fun night *smirk*

I have a question about BE Well Rested, at what point do I apply it? Like a concealer, or after the foundation but before warmth/mineral veil, OR after all these? I did it after foundation but it doesn’t feel right.

It was my dad’s birthday the other day, he turned 51 🙂 I got him this super yummy cake from Goldilocks, a Filipino Bakery, called Braso de Mercedes. It’s like a roll, with the filling inside being made out of egg yolk and other sweet ingredients, and the outside is made out of the eggwhites, light and fluffy. So yummy! You’d have to try it if ever you get the chance to 🙂

The primers look really cool! My favorite BM products would have to be the Mineral Veil SPF20 powder and Buxom (which I think is a BM line) cream eye shadows. I’m obsessed! I have Pug, Collie and Husky, but I definitely want to buy some other colors.

My most memorable birthdays were back when I was younger and my dad was a manager over a recreation center. I would always have swimming parties. I loved it. To this day I cant walk by a swimming pool without wanting to hop into it! lol
I’ve watched the Bare Minerals infomercials about 100 times now, and I’ve always wanted to try them. I remember when I was in 7th grade when I first learned about MAC Cosmetics. My friend was wearing this gorgeous lipglass called C-Thru that I just had to have! Ever since then I have been in love with makeup. Since that young of an age, I loved experimenting and trust me I have made many mistakes and since I think I have perfected at doing my everyday makeup (with the help of many beauty blogs and youtube gurus – yourself include).

Recently fell in love with ICE CREAM Birthday cakes! MMMmmmmm
I remember up until the age of 14-15 years old, every year on my birthday i would get off the bus at my grandma and grandpa’s because my mom worked late, and their would be a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY banner hanging in the front yard between two lights posts, lol. I loved it when i was younger but as i got older it started to get embarassing.
Now that im nearly 14 and they have both passed away I wish they still did it – it was the most special thing about all my birthdays. I miss them alot!

I don’t really celebrate my birthdays. my parents would let me have parties when I was younger and had a lot more friends but they didn’t happen too often after middle school. it’s not like /I/ did anything special the day I was born, you know? don’t get me wrong, people wishing me a ‘happy birthday’ is always appreciated and who doesn’t love getting presents? but yeah, I don’t mind just spending my special day with my mom. 🙂

My first and only Bare Minerals product is a foundation sample that my boyfriend got with his skincare purchase (weird). I thought the shade was too dark for me and so I tossed it deep in my drawer, although I do like the quality of it…. I mean, I can’t really test it since the color is off, but it seems to be quite smooth in texture.
One of the best birthdays I ever had was when I was living away from home and working nights, and my friends organized a party for me when I got back to my house. They had a cookie cake, all sorts of drinks, and they’d put Hannah Montana sheets on my bed (inside joke) and gotten me a Hannah Montana alarm clock. It was hilarious and so much fun!
Favorite birthday cake is hard to decide. I’ve had some interesting ones, including Baked Alaska & Black Forest when I was a kid (I was a weird kid). I think my favorite has to be Jello Poke cake with real whipped cream as frosting. I’ve had combos of Strawberry-Banana & Wild Strawberry, Blue Raspberry & Raspberry, & Raspberry & Peach.
My favorite birthday was probably my 12th birthday. I didn’t have a huge birthday party or anything, it was really simple. My mom surprised me and took me out to a nice lunch and afterwards we went and got our nails done, then later we all went to see a movie, then
opened presents and had a delicious homemade birthday cake at home. I loved it.

The past three days have been okay for me. I was on vacation for three days on a beach, and it was not even planned! My hubby and I decided to just go with it and have an adventure that does not always include planning. So, what were the first three things I grabbed before we head out the door? My makeup in a huge cosmetics bag, two shirts, shorts, and wallet. Oh my goodness, I usually plan trips, but this was the BEST time of my life. I owe it all to him for showing me that it’s not always about planning, but adventure, because adventure and surprises are just not the same when you plan them!

My most fun cake to make ,was the cookie monster cake I baked and decorated in the middle of the night, for my five year old,one hand decorating the cake, the other hand holding a bottle in my babies mouth,while he was in his bassinet. This was necessary in order to surprise my little boy. His expression when he saw the cake was priceless!

One year my mom made this UUUUH-mazing cake that was baked with an edible rose extract. I know it sounds kinda wierd, but it was the most heavenly taste ever…as sweet as a rose smells it tasted and melted in your mouth with the same kind of sweetness that can’t even be explained!! NIRVANA!! …The company that made the extract went outta business and we can’t find that rose extract anywhere. Bummmmer!!! 🙁

BM lip glosses are fab, as well as their eyeshadows. I also use their Well-Rested under my eyes to lighten and brighten after using concealer. And so many of their products are multi-use in nature, and with the amount you get for your money they are often a good buy!

I never was a big fan of Bare Escentuals not because I didn;t like their make up, rather I never really took the time to try any of their products. Since the line is known as a mineral make up, which to this day, I have no idea what that really means, I just avoided their products which is odd considering I never met any make up product I didn’t love. However, the more products they release, the more excited I’ve become about the line. I have started trying some of the gorgeous eye shadows and liners as well as their glosses which can’t be beat. I think when Bare Escentuals was first launched, they had such a limited and somewhat boring line, that I forever associated with a very dull, boring, natural look. But now that they keep on releasing all these fabulous products, I gotta have them to add to my beauty collection

Ever since I was a baby, my mom has always made my birthday cake, from scratch. In a way it’s horrible because every birthday party I go to always has these fake birthday cakes that taste gross. SO, once a year, on September 11th, I always look forward to my birthday cake, because I know it’s going to taste amazing. However, there’s one rule for my birthday cake that my mom has to follow; the cake must be covered in chocolate, inside and out. So usually I get a chocolate cake and I love it!!! Chocolate whipped cream icing is the best. It’s sweet and creamy, but doesn’t make your teeth rot and fall out. I’m excited as to what my birthday cake will be this September, as it’ll be my 21st Birthday!!!!!!!

My most memorable birthday was this years. I turned 23 and that morning was a bad morning. So my husband said we’d go out for a nice walk at an outdoor mall. He said he’d take our baby (2 year old) and let me actually shop for myself and when he came back he saw I way looking at some things and decided to buy them for me behind my back and surprise me with the shopping bag! Haha my sweet man! After that he he said he wanted to take me to a fancy place but I asked for Portillos instead. haha, We had a great lunch and even got some of their chocolate cake. 🙂 He really made me feel very special that day and I love him more for being so awesome!

oooooh, i’m feelin’ lucky!! ;p one of my most memorable bdays was my 11th. i had my first bday party/slumber party and girl, it was off the hook fun! we watched scary movies (friday the 13th part something was one of them), played with make up, teased our bangs/crimped our hair, had a fashion show and talked boys….twas fun!

I have recently been obsessed with all of the radiances…I can’t get enough! I use matte, and to add a little lift, a radiance can just be a blast.

Favorite flavor of birthday cake is the good ol’ fashion original birthday cake-yellow cake with a vanilla funfetti/sprinkle type buttercream.
My absolute favorite Bare Escentuals is their Loose Eye Shadows. I now have them in almost 20 shades. I love loose shadows and these are by far some of my favorites.

My favorite birthday was 14, when my mother (who passed 12 years ago) and my little sister took me shopping at the mall for a new outfit. My sister dragged us into the furniture section of a department store and I was really grouchy and upset because it was MY birthday and we had no reason to be in there… well, my sister and mom had been in there a week earlier and my sis found out that the jukebox in the display actually worked… and played the song “Denise” – so she plopped me down in a recliner and played my name song… such a sweet birthday…

BAREMINERALS is such a nice brands but i get confused with the whole bare essentials things but ANYWAYS the first thing that happens whenn i walk into ulta is (well first i smear some smashbox primer on my wrist cause it feels good) then i go to the bare essentials stand and look at the makeup! makeup is amazing.
