I haven’t tried the TJ’s goat cheese. I’ll have to get on it!
The Mexican resturant near my job uses it on everything. The first time I went there, I had chicken nachos with this melted white cheese; it was so good I wanted to lick the plate. I just had to ask what kind of cheese they used. That was my first encounter with goat cheese. LOVE it!! I have never found it in the local stores, but whenever I get a craving for it, I go to the Mexican resturant! LOL
Love goat cheese. Trader Joe’s sells a 3 pack of different flavored goat chesse. So good!
Its my absolute favourite. We bought a similar goat cheese this weekend.. not the flower one, but the garlic + rosemary one. Ate it up like it was icecream! I love when goat cheese is in salads.. everfy once in awhile you get a bite of the creamy goodness!
I saw a garlic and rosemary one at the cheese stand… now I’m kicking myself for not buying it, argh!
Goat cheese is *AMAZING* in a salad with raspberry vinaigrette. I had a salad once with spinach, goat cheese, sugared walnuts, granny smith apple slices, and raspberry vinaigrette. It was the best salad ever!
Okay, my stomach just rumbled reading about that salad, LOL!
Goat cheese and feta cheese are my favorites. I love being able to just crumble something on top of things. The one in the photo looks too pretty to dismantle!
Try crumbled goat cheese with sliced beets over greens, toasted smoked almond slices, and balsamic glaze (adds a lusty sweetness)!
