Minis rule! — and I’m not just saying that as someone who’s usually the shortest person in the room (even in heels). 🙂 The diminutive glosses in the new Laura Mercier Limited Edition Mini Lip Glacé Set may share my challenges with vertical stature, but that’s only one of the reasons I think they’re such a dang good deal.

At first glance, the $48 kit may seem expensive, but it makes pretty good sense if you do the math. The price on the set translates into big savings on what are arguably some of the most underrated glosses available on counters now.
I’ve been wearing and loving the Lip Glacés for years, and while the full-size versions cost $22 for a 0.159-oz. tube, these smaller 0.1-oz. tubes work out to just $9.60 apiece. Even ounce for ounce, they’re a much better deal ($138.38 per ounce for the full-size ones vs. $96 per ounce for the minis).
Not too shabby, tabby, especially if you love super shiny glosses and hyphenated words, like non-drying, long-wearing and non-sticky.

P.S. Hope you had a great afternoon. I finally feel like I’m getting back in the groove again, but Tabs sure hasn’t been himself. My in-laws are visiting with us for a few days this week, so Tabs doesn’t have his usual run of the place. He’s been pacing around the house all day long and meowing at the closed bedroom door.
Poor guy… His little kitty brain doesn’t deal well with change.
These colors are so pretty. Do these have any scent? You didn’t say and I’m thinking about buying these.
My afternoon was spent sleeping. I’ve caught a fever. I’m apparently not sick, but I’ve got one of those weird fevers for no reason. I hope I’m better before concert day because I do want to sing! Zena liked all the snuggles though!

Can I express my undying love for Rose? I like the variety here – so many of the lipgloss sets I’ve seen lately have been one-note, with neutrals only. This is a welcome change!
The colors are amazing (though After Hours would look a tad bit too blie-based on me, as my lips aren’t so pigmented, and I have a quite yellowish skintone).

I have never tried Laura Mercier lip glosses, but I might have to add these to my makeup wish-list. I’m really digging the colors, especially After Hours, Blush and Sparkling.

I love that you do the exact math! I do that too and a lot of one people look at me like I’m weird. Like the fact that yes, the pro longwear shadows cost more, but price per gram/ ounce is actually cheaper than the regular shadows!
