A closeup of the NARS Daphne Single Eyeshadow ($23) from the fall 2010 collection, available online at narscosmetics.com August 5 and at NARS counters in September.
This eyeshadow was *very challenging* to photograph. I ended up taking a ton of pics because in some Daphne looked like a royal blue, in other a grape juice purple; it was almost as if I was taking pics of two completely different colors!
In real life it’s the deep, dark matte purple seen in the photo above.
Tabs doesn’t know it yet, but I have grand plans to find him a shelter kitten that looks exactly like the one pictured on the new Urban Decay Vegan Palette ($34). Meow!
