It’s that time of year again, Charlie Brown. I went to Trader Joe’s last weekend, and it was like a pumpkin patch up in there. Half the things in my basket were pumpkin somethings.

Behold, the pumpkin madness hath afflicted me!

I was so excited about all my pumpkin goodies that I opened the Pumpkin Cranberry Crisps in the car…with my teeth…before I left the parking lot.

And a dude parked in the car across from me saw the entire thing. I saw the look of horror in his eyes.

Yup, I pretty much ate the entire thing on the 10-minute drive home, hahaha!

Gotta give a special shout-out to MBB reader (and Tabs super-fan) Phoenix. Phoenix is a 9-year-old budding makeup artist and feline enthusiast who loves bright colors and green nail polish (heck, who doesn’t?).

Phoenix and his makeup mentor, my friend Heidi, felt that I, as a professional pet assistant, needed this Crazy Cat Lady car magnet.

I tend to agree. 🙂

One of the great unsung joys in life is lipstick organization. NO, SERIOUSLY!

I love seeing all the names clearly, and the fact that I can find shades quickly without having to rifle through a bag or a drawer makes me want to do the robot.

There’s still a lot of green out there, even on the old oak tree outside my living room window, but I know it’s only a matter of time… It’s already chilly here at night — too chilly to leave any windows open — and now I have to wear slippers to keep from shivering when I step on the kitchen tiles in the morning, bluh.
