Only a few hours till showtime! It’s so exciting… Are you watching the Academy Awards tonight?? 🙂
Tabs is down in SoCal now getting ready for the show. In fact, I’ve had to assist him remotely all day long. I couldn’t fly down to L.A. with the rest of Team Tabs because there was no room in the executive jet for me, so I had to stay behind.
Thank goodness for technology; otherwise, my job would be nearly impossible. I’ve had to coordinate stylists, the best fur handlers in the business, celebrity manicurists — all from Novato!
Wasn’t easy.
In addition to the show, Tabs has several after parties to attend. Of course, he thinks he’s going to sweep every single category he’s nominated in, but even if he loses, you know he’ll lose gracefully.
I’m just really hoping that he and DiCaprio stay out of each other’s way… They got into a tiff last summer while playing tennis, and things have never been quite the same between them. I can’t wait for it to blow over.
Here are five more kitty movie posters (did you see the Best Picture posters from last week?) for movies Tabs starred in last year.
As for tonight, may the best cat win! 🙂
Who is Tabs the Cat?
About seven years ago I befriended a stray, flea-bitten tabby cat with a bad case of worms. I could see he’d fallen on hard times, but his profound knowledge of high fashion and department store cosmetics led me to believe that he was more than meets the eye. We became fast friends, and now he’s actually my boss (and a successful kitty model).

Ya know, a lot of people think of cats as dainty, aloof and too sophisticated for the gritty gridiron, but nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, Tabs loves football, loved all the years he played it professionally for the Mill Valley Wildcats, and even in his retirement, he still plays for fun in a summer cat league.

Right now he’s on the couch getting ready to watch the big 49ers-Seahawks football game. As you know, he played professionally for the Mill Valley Wildcats before getting into kitty modeling…
