Can we just make it standard operating procedure from this day forward that every brown-eyed girl — actually, every girl and makeup-loving dude, period — has to wear green eyeliner every day? Because Chanel’s Legendary Green Stylo Yeux liner has me convinced that this should be one of those die-hard makeup rules, and heck…I’m not even one to follow rules (I prefer breaking them).
I’ve been lining my eyes with this deep, rich forest green lately — both my lash and water lines, because it feels just as good and lasts just as long on both — and now every other liner I try falls flat on my brown eyes. This particular green goes buck wild on lash lines.
It’s almost black, but more complex and deep. It’s like something I would normally have to mix multiple shades to find, but here you get that goodness in a single pencil.
The twist-up Stylo Yeux eyeliners are some of the best-kept secrets in the Chanel line IMO. There’s a black shade, 88 Noir Intense, which I LIVE FOR, HONEY. Noir Intense is the softest, darkest, richest and most comfortable black liner I’ve ever worn, and I’ve left about eight trillion empty sticks of it in my wake… It’s that epic.
And so is Legendary Green. It’s just like 88 Noir Intense, but with a forest green tinge. It’s from the holiday collection, which is on counters and online now, and it’s limited edition (boo, hiss!), so grab it now, before Legendary Green becomes the stuff of legends… A single stick is $33 (ouch, I know), but it’s so, sooooo good.

Noir Pétrole was another great LE Chanel liner that I wish I’d stocked up on. When I saw the name Forest Green, I thought I would pass on this, but now that I see how dark it is … swoon.

I just started using green liner on my lash line. Not one as fancy, but it looks beautiful against brown eyeshadow.

Cassis is one of my favorite Chanel Eyeliners. This one is pretty, too! I already have Marc Jacobs Overt which is one of my favorite forest green eyeliners. I highly recommend this one.

I’ve never tried 88 Noir Intense. I will add this one to my eyeliner wish list so thank you for the recommendation! I am always on the look out for good black ones. Right now, I am using the NYX Epic Ink Liquid Eyeliner and I like it better than Kat Von D’s Trooper.

You’re welcome. Noir Intense is my fave black pencil liner of all time, nothing else compares. I wish I could occasionally get it on sale but I’ve yet to stumble on a Chanel sale.
Ya know, NYX makes some really great liners. They have these pale pastel liners that I use on my water lines that work really well, and they brighten up the eyes, too.

I love Stylo Yeux liners. They are one of the few liners that stay put on my hooded lids and don’t irritate my eyes at all. I don’t usually do my waterlines because my eyes are so sensitive. But with these I can do it a little bit.
I need to see how green Legendary is. I have green eyes and when I wear green liners, depending on the shade it either pushes my eye color more hazel/golden or sometimes more gray.
I still want the ombre première shadow in Silver Screen.
