My new favorite makeup philosophy is the following: “When in doubt, Chanel it out.”
I haven’t worn any face paint in weeks (!), but this morning, I promised myself that I would give it a try. When I’m feeling like everything is too hard, Chanel was the *only* answer, ya know?

I’m wearing a handful of Chanel favorites in this look!
One thing I’ve relearned recently is that subtle makeup in real life doesn’t translate as well when you’re dealing with the camera. Apparently this is a lesson that I have to learn over and over again, LOL!

Hope your Tuesday has been terrific. It’s a rainy and cold one here in Nor Cal, but I’m focusing on all the blessings.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Hi!
Your sleek hair and makeup inspired me to go find my Chanel bronzer from last summer so that I too could Chanel it out!
Chin up Karen, I’m sorry it’s not a great day. We on line are here to support you too!
Hi Vita! Glad you were able to Chanel it out. My day was ok! Just a lot of things to do, and I’m a little tired. Other than that things are good.
I love your “younger than springtime” look. You epitomize what Chanel is all about. After years of the heavy face painting and overly complicated looks we were seeing on YouTube, Insta, and TicToc, it’s so refreshing to see natural beauty being enhanced rather than covered up. I have absolutely nothing against bolder, more dramatic looks, but I think there is a time and a place.
Thanks, Eileen. I’m really embracing this aesthetic, too!
