P.S. I hope the sun shined on you today. I’ve had a very emotional Tuesday so far, and I’m kind of a mess right now, to be honest. I went to a funeral this morning for my friend Jen’s mom. She passed away a few days ago after a long illness, and so today we all said our goodbyes…

Thank you for this comment — I’ll take those hugs. I think she’s doing the best she can considering the circumstances. Her mom had been sick for a really long time so they knew this was coming. Luckily she has a lot of friends and family around to help her and her brother out.
I’m sorry about your mom. I hope that you’ve been able to find ways to cope with the loss and to heal.
I think I’ll watch the Cosmetics Company Store for the belini palette. Because it looks awesome but I can’t spend that!

I am truly sorry for your loss, sending waves of violet flames to you (and your friend). Hubby just lost his Grampy and gee it is certainly hard to be human sometimes as loss can feel so permanent. I am sure your friend was bolstered by your love and friendship, feel good about that if you can. Love the pictures and look forward to your reviews. Hug Tabs and give him extra gravy today. Thanks for this note. I feel so terrible for her and her brother; they lost their dad a few years ago very suddenly, too.
We’ve been friends since high school, and I can still remember hanging out at her house and feeling like I was part of their family.
Tabs will definitely get extra gravy and hugs (if he’ll let me).
Wow, that Bellini palette is wicked expensive. I don’t think I could ever drop $75 on that, especially because I really dislike glosses that come in palettes like that! Maybe it’s just me, but I hardly ever use them. AND they get all sticky with shadow fallout eventually anyways. The Black Caviar palette seems more reasonable, and I do love the packaging on everything.
