Quick shout-out to my current eyeliner crush (that’s it up there, in all its glittery grayish black glory), Dolce & Gabbana Eyeliner in Stromboli ($30).
We’d actually been acquainted for some time, as the shade has been part of the brand’s permanent collection for a while, but it was only with the recent launch of the Dolce & Gabbana Charm Collection that we got to know each other better.
When I wear Stromboli along my upper lash line (I don’t use it on my water line because of the glitter), its little flecks of golden glitter shimmer in the light.

What are your fave liners these days, Melli?
I’ve been really loving UD’s Zero, Tarte’s Aqua-Gel Eyeliner, and Palladio’s liquid liner. I’m kinda getting bored with the flat black everyday. I think stromboli would make a great addition to my collection! Are there any other ones you would recommend?

Haha, that first Stromboli that came to mind was the one from Pinocchio! 😛 So I had a good laugh imagining him wearing these eyeliners.

These look really pretty! Can you compare to the pearlglide liners MAC had last year? These seem to look way more glittery but sometimes things do in photos so I just wanted your expert opinion.

Sure. This liner is slightly harder and less “wet.” The glitter pieces are noticeably larger and more pronounced compared to the Pearlglides. I also feel Stromboli has a more pop, if that makes any sense.
