Hey, cuties. I urgently need your help!
I’m going to a fashion event tonight at Saks Fifth Avenue called Worn to Be Wild (I’ll take and post pictures), and I’m trying to figure out what to wear on my lips.
I’m still mentally beat from yesterday’s paper deadline. That coupled with the waking-up-with-the-chickens thing this morning has rendered me useless. I haven’t been able to get my sh*t together all day long — this entry has been a struggle.
Will you please help me pick a lipstick to wear tonight? I can’t make a decision, but I’d like it to be one of the Aqualumeire Lipsticks ($28) from Chanel’s Cote D’Azur collection.
It’s made up of six luscious coral, brown and rose shades…

I’m a little late on this as you probably are already at the event, but I hope you chose Porto Rotondo. Since it is a night event, I thought Porto Rotondo would be that perfect va-voom color for getting all decked out. Plus, the event was called “Worn to be Wild”. This screams red lips. If it was daytime, I would’ve chose Monte Carlo as this color looked great on you & is just the perfect hint of springtime pink for day. Can’t wait to read about your night, what color you chose & all the fun!
Monte Carlo looks like the perfect shade of pinky-nude. I’ve been on a prowl for the “it” lipstick, but with little success so far. I wish I could buy that lippie but it’s way out of my price range.

omg Karen! I was there too! I left after my 3rd glass of champagne & the second drawing. I actually got there rather early. What did you think of the fashion? My friend and I ended up going to the Cheesecake Factory. Yum!

Monte carlo.. its just so nice on your skin tone (im mentally adding it to my shopping list lol)
Either Monte Carlo or Porto Rotondo, based on the fact that we don’t know what you’ll be doing with your eyes….i chose two.
if ur going smokey or dark, then monte carlo, and if ur going light/only liner on the eyes then def…porto rotondo….BUT…if i had to pick ONE THEN it wud be the latter, because then you’d always have that pinch of color on ur face in case the camera washes everything else out! 🙂
