Things are lookin’ up, friend. I put on makeup two days in a row!
It’s a rainy one here in Nor Cal – another puuuur-fect excuse to wear Chanel.

I’m really into a pared-down makeup aesthetic right now, as you can see.
What looks are you into these days?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Those rosy drops seem to work magically to brighten up your face. I am going to go look for some for myself. We aren’t in the rain but snow again so anything bright and springy is nice.
As I age in to a better (and yes chronologically older) version of myself, I find less is more in terms of makeup too.
I pulled out my Chanel Tisse Rivoli eyeshadow quad that I picked up last year after seeing it on you. I’m going to wear it tomorrow. How did you use the two eye pencils? One on top
Of the other? Or blended in layers?
I really love the last two Chanel looks you’ve worn-so beautiful.
I’ve never used anything from Chanel.
I am mid 40’s and apply less as I get older. I also have hooded lids but when I play around, I rarely find anything that works. I like to use a skinny water proof gel type black liner (just finished up a wet n wild one and it was really good) in my upper water lines. I close my eyes and raise my eyebrows, then run the eye liner across (back and forth) over the water line/eye lid to form a very skinny line. It’s such a great technique I just made up.
Beautiful! Rose Ecrin is my favorite Chanel blush. I haven’t worn Tisse Rivoli in ages. I wonder if I still have it. Or if it got downsized along the way. Need to run upstairs and check my collection. Lol.
How do you like Ultra Le Teint? Does it have that Chanel fragrance in it? I’m finding my skin doesn’t tolerate fragrance like it once did. I bought a tone up sunscreen in Japan and the first day it broke me out. Tried it again late in the week and it made my skin itch and that’s when I noticed a very faint fragrance to it. Sigh. It was a really nice sunscreen too. Luckily Dear Daughter said she’d take it off my hands.
