Clinique’s First GWP Designer Collaboration
This is Clinique’s first foray into a designer collaboration GWP. Trina Turk, known for her sophisticated a designer clothing prints, hand picked all the items in the eight-piece set, and her clothes inspires the included silver and white tiger print cosmetics bag.
Love the Bag!
When it comes to GWP sets, there are usually at least a couple items I end up giving away (girrrrrl, like those ubiquitous GWP tubes of Clinique Raspberry Glace lipstick!), but not here, not this time. You’ll want to keep the goodies that come with this set. 🙂
I’m a raging accessories freak, and this bag looks like a big step up from the thin, nondescript bags normally packaged with GWPs. But bag or no bag, I think it’s the makeup that makes this set something to look forward to.

A Look for All Seasons
The gold, plum and coral shades included with the set have a summer and beach-inspired feel to them. Yep, they’re a little out of step with most dark fall and winter shades, but I think that’s part of their charm. They’re pretty and wearable and spark all kinds of new ideas.

LOL! I realize that the hair blown effect in these pics crosses the line into cheese-tacular blogger photography territory, but I’m sorry… I couldn’t help myself!
I’m convinced that the windblown fan effect compensates for at least a few hours of sleep and has anti-aging properties because I laughed so hard taking these pics that I feel 10 years younger. If I could, I’d tote a fan around with me 24-7. I totally would! You hear that, Mariah Carey? You ain’t the only one with a fan now, girl!
Tell Me Have You Seen Him??
After lunch at a diner across the street I stopped by a pet store and finally bought Tabs a collar… Unfortunately, he’s been MIA for two whole days. No sign of him since Wednesday. He must be out doing Tabby things, but I hope he comes back. Doesn’t he know how much I worry?
I hope he hasn’t left me for another person. If he’s shacking up with other humans, it’ll break my heart into a bazillion pieces. Sigh…
Well, at least it’s Friday and not Monday. Got any plans for the evening?

That’s an adorable collar! YAY! It’s a safety collar! That means it’ll break if they get caught on something! That’s a good thing! They can’t get strangled. But you do want to pry that bell off. The noise can be hard on their little ears.

Me too! The lining inside is a bright yellow, which is also a nice touch. Seriously, one day you need to do a photo sesh with a fan so you can *work that hair*!
I didn’t know Babycake was a collar escape artist. 🙂 I saw a similar pink collar with crystals at the pet store, LOL. I briefly had visions of Tabs rocking it, but then decided to go with the conservative blue with the stars and fish bones. I really hope he comes home soon. I was gonna go thrifting since I’ve never been but I felt blah today so I just stayed in because I wouldn’t enjoy it if I went out. I’m going on Monday though since I wanna find some fur coats. 🙂
I wish I could go running but I feel too self conscious running in public so I just stick to my cross trainer. Oooh, did you buy them? I’m not gonna buy any from the RSS collection, MAC hasn’t been wowing me lately so I just avoid the collections, plus it means more money for clothes!
My Saturday inside was well spent though, I finally found furniture, it’s nothing I’d go for usually but I just fell in love with it, plus it’s solid oak so it’ll last a looong time, and the wardrobe was on sale from £960 to £390! I’m worried one wardrobe won’t be enough for me though… I have lots of clothes.
