Yes, it’s true. It’s because I’m addicted to mascara. Even when I find one I like, I can’t stay with it for long. I still have to try the next new one that comes along cuz….well, just cuz!!!
It’s what lead me to my recent purchase of Make Up For Ever (MUFE) Aqua Smoky Lash waterproof mascara ($22) in Extra Black.
I love the MUFE Aqua Eyes and Aqua Creams, so I figured Aqua Smoky Lash had to be great too, right?

As a side note, I did curl my lashes beforehand. Not only doesn’t Smoky Lash flake on me, it holds the curl all day long and gives me the kind of lashes that might even get me out of a traffic ticket. Not that I’ve ever tried that…
Now THIS is the kind of mascara I could take on my Giligan’s Island trip. My rating for Aqua Smoky Lash: A+

looks GREAT! i love mufe so much, especially their lipsticks, so I’m not surprised that their mascara rocks because all of their products do that i’ve tried. so need to use this!

I’m so happy to see a post on this! I’ve really been wanting to try it but I’ve been debating whether or not it’s worth the money. I ALWAYS wear waterproof mascara, like every day because its the only way my lackluster lashes will hold a curl.
I was wondering how well this mascara comes off? I have the MUFE waterproof eye makeup remover but I still have trouble since I wear a million coats.
EVERYONE should own the MUFE Aqua Eyes Pencil in 23L, its a metallic nudey pink that I use on the inner corners and under my lower lash line to fake sleep 🙂 It lasts all day and is beautiful, is anyone else a fan?
Brittany- I wonder if the Eye Pencil 23 L is similar to the MAC Champale eye kohl I Get No Kick? It’s sold out and the bid on ebay was up to $26 the last I checked- no way. Is it more pink more neutral?
This sounds like a great mascara I’m currently trying loreal beauty tubes mascara (the one in the red and white tube) It’s awesome it does’t flake and doesn’t run.
This seems like my next mascara.
I love Smoky Lash, but I find the Aqua Smoky Lash soooooooo difficult to get off at the end of the day. I wish I could rave about it, but I am sticking with the original Smoky Lash.

See, I was SO mad when I tried this because it smudged terribly on me (and I did get the waterproof!) I think it’s just not meant to be.

To answer your question about my favorite MUFE product, it would haveto be the HD Microblush creme in #5, it is the perfect pink!!

Haha, that is so me XD although I’ve slowed down a bit because all the mascaras that I’ve been impulse-buying lately are kind of disappointing. My favorites are L’Oreal Voluminous, for CRAZY volume, and Rimmel Lash Accelerator, for tons of length/a feathery look, and while it didn’t really make my lashes grow longer/fuller, it accelerates the growth of broken lashes and keeps my lashes from falling out so crazily like they did before. 😀
It clumped soooo badly on me! And it flaked just the tiniest bit, but that wasn’t really an issue… The clumping was the worst I’ve ever experienced though… 🙁
This stuff holds curl like a champ. My tube is all dried up and I’ve been debating on if I’ll get another or not…
