This is how badly I need — yes, need — these Republic Nail Frida Kahlo products in my life.
I’ve currently embarked upon a systematic search of every CVS store in the Marin County area to find these products!
My online sleuthing seems to indicate that they’re only available at actual physical CVS stores.
WHY?! Why aren’t they also available online??
I found out about this collection from my friend Lily on Instagram (hey, girl!). She posted a pic she found of some of the items, and the moment I saw it I was like, OK, yeah, I can’t live without them.
Well, I mean…I could live without them, but it would be really, REALLY nice if I could try that mint green nail polish on my nails. 🙂
The polishes are $7.99, as are the lipsticks.
Oh, and apparently there are also sets out there, somewhere, that have both the nail polishes and lipsticks in them. I saw them on the Republic Nail website (not for sale, though — just the info), but I haven’t spotted them for sale anywhere at CVS.
I think they may have been available on the CVS website at some point in time because they have the reviews, which are really good, but now the website just says that they’re available in stores only.
If you happen to see these in a store anywhere around here in the Bay Area, please let me know. I’d hop in my Mazda and get there SO FAST.

I think they’re at select stores across the country. My friend who found them isn’t in California. I really hope I can find them here in the Bay! If you see them around your neck of the woods let me know. 😀

Thats odd. Why would they only be available in store? I like Frida Kahlos art, but I am pretty sure they wont make their way to Germany any time soon.
Here in the US sometimes there are items that are in-store only. Might be a distribution thing.
I’ll be checking CVS this week! Luckily there are two in my area.

I found an online post about them from way back in April, so maybe they are no longer sold and your friend just got lucky? I checked and they’re not available anywhere in my state.

Interesting! I checked the online located and it says that they’re available at a couple of stores in my area so I’m going to check.
I see there are a couple CVS locations here in Manhattan where the website says they are available.

I found some in Florida but I don’t think that would help you out much! Haha! I almost got one of the lipsticks but I hadn’t seen anything about them at all online so I decided to hold out and save the $7.99. If you find either the polish or lipsticks definitely let us know what you think about them! 🙂

BTW, I visited Florida once (for my best friend’s wedding) and enjoyed it very much. She got married in Boca Raton, and then afterwards my husband and I drove down to the keys. How long have you lived there? Do you like it?
These are awesome! I can’t believe they’re only available in random CVS stores, that’s crazy! I’ll have to go out looking tomorrow. Frida Kahlo was an amazing artist and such an interesting person!
I found some of these today! I got some that I want, but plan to go out tomorrow or Saturday to see if I can find the purple lipstick, and more of the pinks. This is the first time I’ve bought makeup because of the packaging — I wish MAC had done these!
Found all colors of nail polish and lipstick at the CVS on Hatch Road in Modesto today. They’ll hold them at the counter for you if you call (and if you don’t mind a little drive).
Karen they are at my CVS in Dallas. If you can’t find them, is there a non creepy way I can ship to you? Do you have a PO box or anything?
