Even though it’s still technically spring around here until June 21, summer makeup’s in the house, and I’m going cray-cray for corals!
I just started wearing this coral lip and cheek combo with NYX Butter Lipstick in Fireball ($5.99) and Maybelline Master Hi-Lighting Blush in Coral ($9.99).
I’m feelin’ it!
The peachy coral blush gives some soft definition to my cheeks without interfering with Fireball’s intense bright reddish coral color.
Methinks the two play nicely together.
Here I’m wearing it with a standard smokey eye, but next time I think I’m going to wear it with a shimmery golden or bronze cream shadow…or maybe a nude lid with winged teal liner on the upper lash line.
Ooh! — if you get a tan this time of year (or any time of year, for that matter), I bet this combo would look great on ya.
That coral blush is beautiful on you.
Corals are so great for the summer and I will definitely be on the look out for that blush.
Aah I love corals! My current go to lip and blush combo has See Sheer by MAC and Something Special cream blush by MAC and MAC Peaches on top! <3 I am totally loving this series Karen!
Eek! I love teal and coral as a combo SO MUCH. Or teal and bright orange too. I was wearing a fluoro watermelon orange pink singlet the other day, and nothing would do but that I line my eyes with Urban Decay’s Deep End 😀
Also, some serious envy going on over here for that Nyx Butter Lipstick! I love the glosses…gotta get my hands on the lipsticks somehow…

NYX is soooo hit and miss for me but I would really love to find more hits. Butter lipsticks are a go? Any other faves? I have the butter glosses (yum-o!), and have tried many of the mascaras (with no luck), but need some more affordable makeup in my life.

Anyway, I just started wearing this shade of Butter Lipstick and so far, so good. It doesn’t have a funky scent and it’s really comfy on the lips.

Yeah, this “better together” series is a lot of fun to read. Plus, you get extra brownie points when the products are drugstore/budget- friendly. Sad that I don’t have a much cheaper habit….

I have red hair, and I am a coral hound. Adore it. I love my NYX Butter Lip Balm, so I’ve gotta put the coral lipstick on my list for next trip to Ulta. I was eyeing that Maybelline blush the other day. So pretty on you. I need a coral blush. Now.
