Werble, werble, bleep-bleep, boop!
Werble, werble, bleep-bleep, boop!
Oh! That’s the beautiful sound of the Dupe Alert 3000, an advanced, cutting-edge alarm system I secretly acquired from Cyberdyne Systems this week.
Shh… Don’t tell anyone, but I keep it in my office right next to the cat treats, and it chimes whenever a drugstore product that could pass for a more expensive product is in its proximity.
Today it was Covergirl’s $5 Cheekers Blush in Soft Sable that set it off. Soft Sable is a peachy brown with shimmer that could easily stand in for Benefit’s $28 Boxed Blush in Dallas.
To the blush snobs, don’t knock it ’til you try it. Soft Sable buffs more easily than a bodybuilder and blends beautifully. When I wear it, I can usually go six or seven hours between touch-ups.
Plus, and this is my favorite part, it’s only $5.
Dispatch your personal robot assistant to the nearest drugstore or Ulta to find it. It’s also available online.
Werble, werble, bleep-bleep, boop! 🙂

I have always been torn between Dallas and Hoola and ended up owning neither! Must be a sign of sorts! 😀
I agree dupes are not always exactly the same. But once on the skin, they make little difference. Thanks for the head up Karen.
I love this color! I’ve never tried any Covergirl blushes but I’ll have to try this out..
Well, this is good to know! The packaging looks cheap, but the color is great.
I’ve been thinking about getting Dallas lately. I think I’ll try this one instead. Thanks, Karen!
A $5 blush must mean more money for cat treats! Thanks Karen.
Hi Jennifer,
You cannot deny the kittehs their treats!
Oh, the swatch looks lovely! I’ll have to keep this one on my radar. Thanks for the heads up. Hope your handy robot assistant brings more of these dupe-alert posts our way 🙂
Hi Kwmechelle,
I’ll program Robot Assistant do some more research, LOL! She’s recharging right now. You’d think that in this day and age batteries would be better but noooooo!
I wish we had this here. It looks great!
Does it still have a strong “noxema” like scent?
