Between all the lusciously dark NARS Audacious Lipsticks and this sumptuously smokey Dior 5-Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette in Pied De Poule ($60), I think I’m starting to seriously entertain the notion of leaving behind minimal summer makeup, and embracing full-on fall makeup madness.

These colors look very redundant (except for the white, obvs), but they certainly are gorgeous!

Here! 🙂 Yesterday was first Smokey Eyes day after summer! It’s getting to turn into autumn here in Germany as well. Sadly on one side because it’s still August, it should be hot sommer … But we had great hot days for a long period in Nune and July.

Very dark! And I love it!
I’m drawn to this palette the most out of all of them.. but sadly I just know I wouldn’t wear it much. It’s a shame really, it’s beautiful!
I’m literally terrified by that palette but I know I’m going to think it’s awesome when I see your FOTD. 🙂 Even black eyeliner is a bit too stark for me in my old age. This palette would have me looking like GorDON from the Sprint commercials! And not in a good way.
Karen, these colours would look slammin good on you!! I think, with your application abilities, you would be able to make these colours sing. If I tried, I’d make a bit of a muddy mess – raccoon eyes are ma thang, unfortunately!! But they are SO beautiful, and I’m definitely a fall girl. I will have to live vicariously through you for this palette 🙂

What a gorgeous palette! Don’t think I’d ever much though. With my pale skin, I find this kind of shades hard to pull off.
Oh, gosh, these colors would look gorgeous with pale skin. You have to like drama though.
I imagine these colors would be phenomenal on you — maybe with one of those Audacious ladies!
I own a lot of similar shades so this palette would dupe in some way, although Dior is usually not dupeable with their finish.
My only problem with the similar shades I already own is they tend to provide fall-out so smokey eye becomes black eye or bruised eye. If this palette does not do that — I’m on it!
Fortunately, a palette I can pass on. Can’t do those dark shades!
