I got Habanera from a friend who said it looked like bruise on her…and I love it! There is a no brainer method that works pretty well: minty green on lid and plum on crease layered on top of the green. (Actually if I use the the plum alone, it does look like natural bruise on me as well.)
I have seen another blogger used the green with the red from MAC MES mi’lady, it looks pretty stunning that way.
I *love* this duo! I like the minty green on the outer 2/3 of the lid (usually a pale pink or peachy beige on the inner third) and the charcoal plum on the lash line and the outer V. The colors work fantastically well together!
Gorgeous. This is one of the duos I always drool over when checking out the NARS website…(I love looking at makeup online and wishing it were mine – a girl can dream right?) There’s a look in the “Look” section on the website that was done with this duo, it’s gorgeous. Maybe you could try that out?

Hi Karen! I have a similar duo [not from Nars, sigh] I agree with the other posters, and I’ll add my two cents: it also looks great with the green as a wash over the lid and the purple as a liner. Very quick and easy and looks fantastic! Have a nice day 🙂
So I just got this and I am obsessed with it! I like to actually do something different than everyone else and I use the purple shade on the lid, do a inner corner highlight with the shimmery blue, and then put a dark blue cream base in my crease and pat urban decay’s goddess in, and then highlight my brow bone. I like using a dark brown liquid liner and doing a little tiny wing, and it’s the most fun look to try!

Hi Glosslizard,
I will have to try this look too. Yay! I can’t wait to discover all the possibilities and combos for this bad boy.
ROTFL! How weird! I just happen to be wearing it today!! It’s one of the looks I get the most complements on! (From total strangers even!)
I wear the mint/green part on the inner 1/2 of my lid, and the smoky purple on the outer half and into the crease! Gorgeous!
Hi Mariah,
Ohhh, makeup kismet! Spooky!
I’ll have to try your look soon. 🙂

Hi Marce,
Oh, which look is it? I might have to give it a go. 🙂
I use it for an easy party look – the light shade on the inner part of the lid and the darker in the crease and outer V 🙂
Hi Ditte,
Pretty! Do you use liner or anything else with the look?
