Our five-year anniversary dinner at Redd Napa Valley restaurant in the cute, little town of Yountville, about an hour’s drive north of here in Wine Country.
The pic at the top is a hamachi sashimi dish with sticky rice and edamame in a lime ginger sauce. Nom.

Smoked trout salad, beets, lemon vinaigrette and horseradish crème fraiche

Sautéed skate, twelve vegetable ragoût, gnocchi in herb butter

Prime new york steak and shortribs, salt potatoes, bacon and mushroom ragout

Chocolate and peanut butter beignets, bitter caramel ice cream with bananas

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! That looks like a spectacular way to celebrate. I have to say I have never seen such well plated food in America before, but I am always on the look out for great US restaurants. I guess I will have to pop that one on my To Do list!
