Guerlain spring 2014, girlfriend!
All I have to say is “SWOON.” They reformulated their Meteorites Pearls highlighters — you know, the multicolored makeup marbles that look like hard candies? — and they designed the entire 14-piece Météorites Blossom spring 2014 collection around them.
The new pearls, which you’re supposed to swirl together with your brush and then apply, use something called “stardust technology.”
How very sci-fi-ish of the marketing department. 🙂
The new formulation is supposed to be even more luminous than before, and better at brightening and disguise…
Hello! — I am so totally down with both those things. Right now I look and feel like I could use 10 years of sleep, which is what I get for staying up too late watching Breaking Bad (watch it!).
Back to the pearls…
There are three new permanent line shades, with each one made for a specific task. The first, 02 Clair, which is shown here, corrects redness with green pearls while champagne and white pearls illuminate.
The second one is 03 Medium, a neutral combo of beige, champagne and peach pearls designed to make skin glow.
And the third new one, 04 Dore, has chocolate-colored, fuchsia and beige pearls for smoldering radiance.
Review coming soon…
Each pack of pearls is $60, and they’re available now with the rest of the 14-piece Meteorites Blossom spring collection (other than the pearls, there are shadows, a brow kit, blushes, a mascara, two lipsticks, one lipgloss, a nail polish and a brush) at Guerlain counters and online.

OMG Those look sooo pretty!! Too bad we in Holland have to wait until February 🙁
Oooooo! Pretty!
I might have to check this out.
these are absolute eye candy… they’re GORGEOUS! i can’t stop staring at that last picture. i’ve never owned anything from guerlain but this is definitely the number 1 thing i’d want to try from them! their bronzers are also nice but nothing beats these pretty, adorable pastel pearls 🙂

I can’t wait to see more of this. Its just so pretty.
I always enjoy the packaging for these products.
Pretty! waiting for the review ^_^
I’d love to know if it’s really different from the previous version! In any case I still have a lot of my Perles du Dragon left, so I probably won’t grab a pot anytime soon 😉
These are so pretty – I love how the actual pearls have a sort of ‘frosted’ look like they’re covered in tiny ice crystals.
Wow… they look so gorgeous! Can’t wait to try them 😛
Medium sounds interesting!
I love your close-up shots! And Breaking Bad doesn’t disappoint, does it. Though it does make you clutch your pearls sometimes (bad Meteorites pun intended…I’ll show myself out)
How can anyone resist this super candiliciously gorgeous box? Seriously I want this colorful one so bad although I don’t have any redness that I need it to correct on my face :(. Am I too spoiled? :/
I hope you review Dore!! I’ve been dying to see swatches! I really hope its WOC friendly
this makes me both hopeful and sad. I have I think like the rose and the beige from the “regular” group, but I never use them. The beige is so matte. I wish I would have waited and then I could be happy about the money I spent getting these instead.
Gorgeous! I don’t do a ton of powders because of my dry skin, but the pearls are just the most gorgeous things ever.
They look so prettyy!! jst ;like tiny meteorites only.. 🙂
Loving the Gurelian products latelyy.. 🙂
Prettyy! ^_^
karen,
which powder do you like better?
guerlain or hourglass?
Okay, this doesn’t help me at all with my New Year’s Resolution #15 – Resist urge to splurge on Guerlain products this year 🙂
I don’t own any Guerlain products but these pearls become more and more irresistible by the day.
