I spent my morning break drinking hot tea and tum-scratching this adorable kitty lady.
Isn’t she dainty and cute!? I’m a little obsessed with her whisker pads…
She lives in my neighborhood and stops by every few days to say hi. I named her a while back (since I don’t know her real name), but apparently that name didn’t take because I can’t remember it, LOL!
So now I’ve started calling her “Sunshine”, because every time I see her she’s bright, happy and chatty.
El Hub says that I am NOT to seduce her with treats and love (he knows me too well), because even though she doesn’t wear a collar, she looks well cared for and fed, but ya know…if she decides to follow me home one day and never wants to leave, I won’t stop her. 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
P.S. Have you had any good neighborhood kitty sightings lately?

We had a lovely tuxedo kitty visiting our garden, but I’ve not seen him/her for awhile now… the dogs would bark at it every time they saw it, maybe they scared it off? 🙁
I always used to have cats & I really miss their presence now I just have my doggies.
Aww, maybe the dogs just have to meet the right kitty? I’ve known several dogs who get along well with cats. 🙂
It’s funny, mine love cats, they grew up with my old kitties – but they love them so much they get exited and bark! So the cats run away, which the dogs seem to think is a super fun game of chasies! Poor kitties lol.
Since recently moving into a new (to me) house, I have been taking my kitty, Natalia, out on her leash pretty frequently per her demands. There is a huge orange neighbor kitty named Biscuit who runs freely and thinks he owns the block. They haven’t met yet but I don’t think it will be pretty when they finally cross paths!
How nice that you and Natalia get to spend that time together. 🙂 Was it hard for her to get used to the leash? For Tabs, it took about a week and a half; I used lots of treats and cat nip and affection at first! Now he loves it.
It didn’t take her too long to get used to it. She is freaked out by doors because she thinks they are going to slam on her so the first few times I carried her outside!
So adorable! I want to get a cat so bad, but our apartment landlord doesn’t allow them 🙁 But, I’ve got 2 beautiful kitties at home (I moved to a different country at the beginning of this year) that I can’t wait to see soon!

Awww she is soooooo cute! I also love her whisker pads. <3
I hereby give you permission to seduce her.
What a cutie! I’m always afraid to pet strays in fear that I’ll carry something they have over to my own kitten, even though he’s vaccinated. I worry too much D:
Oh, that cat is not safe! From me! LOL- I am gonna fly next thing in the morning to her and steal her! ;.)
What a pretty girl! I saw a little fluffy white kittycat coming out of PetCo the other day, but I only see dogs in our condo neighborhood. One of our neighbors has a friendly little pug, and the other has a little dachshund.
I saw a neighbor cat yesterday and I hissed and yelled and growled at it from my window.
LOL! You sound just like my Caliboosh. But it’s important to protect your turf. You go Isis! 🙂
I am The Queen. No one else matters. The End.
Meow
Look at her showing off on the balance beam for you! Tail up in the air and everything 😉
You could always put a break-away collar on her and tie a little note to it, saying “I had an adventure today and I made a new friend!”
She’s pretty. I love how she’s mostly white and then has the darker markings on her face, paws and tail. Even if she doesn’t wear a collar she might be microchipped. Both of my girls are.
My immediate neighborhood has multiple cats, none of which Nora takes kindly to when they are on our property. Mia, the long haired gray loves to go in and explore our garage. She once got locked in without us knowing it. Since we know her employee family we always check our garage when we hear them calling for her later in the evening.
There was this beautiful girl cat who wandered all the way into our apartment complex, she was cream colored, with a fluffy tail, and brown spots, and BEAUTIFUL blue eyes. She followed me twice and a neighbor of mine wanted to adopt her, but I haven’t seen her since (the neighbor or the cat). Sad thing is, I think the cat girl was pregnant 🙁 I named her Sols, like the eyeshadow xD
Our neighbors have an outdoor cat they pay very little attention to. He’s ove rat my house all the time. His name is Paquito. He’s cray cray. He runs to me or my husband every time he hears us outside. He gets in my car, goes in my house, and he loves sleeping in my garden. He likes to play with my cat and dog through the window. I’d steal him if I could. His sister is owned by another neighbor and she comes over quite a lot too. Her name is Fern. If she’s hurt or hungry, she comes to my house first. I’d steal her too if I could. There are pictures of both of them on my Instagram. This summer I found a little nursery with a cool cat. I’ve gone back just to pet the cat and not buy anything.
Cute girl cat . Blaow goes outside in the evening for a hour or two and I often wonder if he’s made some human friends in the neighborhood, lol . Wish I could put a camera on him to see what he’s up to. Lots of cats around but most won’t come to close but that doesn’t stomp from talking to them, lol
Hi Denise,
Thought you might get a kick out of this. It’s a research project by National Geographic and the University of Georgia; they put kitty cams on free roaming cats to see what they did while they were out and about:

Wow so cool! Thanks I’m going to share this with my daughter!!
Awwww, what a pretty girl.
I think that once you name a cat, he or she is already yours!!!
She’s adorable! Doesn’t the coloring around her nose and mouth, going up to her right eye, look like a Hershey’s Kiss? 🙂 And I love her sassy, backside stripe. It’s like she’s wearing a pageant ribbon across her bum. 🙂
Wow, what a pretty little girl. She looks FAB coming and GOING! LOL
We have a lot of neighborhood cats and they visit everyone on our street. LOL Mr. Grey is the Governor, Tigger (a.k.a. PinkNose) is the nimble fish stealer, Eddie is the big tuxedo cat from up the street – he’s a bruiser. LOL THey are all great and the neighbors are very fond of all of them.
Caliboosh on the other hand? NOPE, she is not having any of them in HER oasis. LMAO
I don’t think you’d be in the wrong in tempting her home 🙂
